“I went to Grand Strand back in 1982 that was when Mr. Green bought some jewelry from me and when he knew I was trying to get back home to Texas he gave me the fairest price. It was his kindness and compassion that I'll never forget. I returned back to Garden City in 2004. I was excited that his shop was still there. Unfortunately I didn't get to see my friend that helped me back then but his wife and son still carried on his reputation and compassion.”
