About The Sandbar Hotel Myrtle Beach, Trademark Collection by Wyndham
The Sandbar Hotel Myrtle Beach, Trademark Collection by Wyndham, offers a mix of positive experiences and some areas for improvement. Located right on the beach, it provides convenient access to ocean views, pools, and nearby restaurants, making it a popular choice for visitors seeking a beachside stay. Guests have enjoyed the friendly staff, with some noting especially helpful and cheerful employees. The rooms are generally clean and recently updated, featuring small kitchens with appliances like ovens, stoves, microwaves, and full-sized refrigerators, ideal for guests who prefer to prepare their own meals. The location is praised for its walkability to restaurants and attractions, and the pool area, including a lazy river and hot tub at another location, is well-maintained and enjoyable. However, there are some issues reported by guests, such as broken elevators, delays in receiving towels, and occasional shortages of pool towels. The outside appearance is somewhat dated, though the rooms have been updated to a more modern standard. Check-in times can be inconvenient for early arrivals, and some guests found the photos misleading. Despite these minor setbacks, many guests found their stay satisfying and would return, citing the excellent location, friendly service, and clean facilities as highlights. Overall, The Sandbar Hotel provides a decent and affordable beachside stay with friendly staff and good amenities, perfect for those looking to enjoy Myrtle Beach's attractions.
Stayed here for a long weekend recently. We have a large family and got three rooms. Everyone was very happy with this hotel... very comfortable, good service and the location was excellent for what we wanted. When vacationing in the area again, we will stay here.
