“Was a fabulous week until the next to last day, we all decided to sleep in. At 8am. They were remolding the pent house, using jack hammers! Ruined a wonderful day.
We ate at the resturant, the grouper was really good, my friend had the new special pork chop, it was as big as s small roast. So tender she did not need a steak knife, she could slice it with a table knife. Needless to say, she had to take the rest when she left. She made a wonderful pork sandwitch.”

“Clean suite!!! Recently updated and the property was clean. Only knock was that the light in the bathroom which in on the bottom of the outlet was on all night. I assume safety thing, and you couldn’t see it in the room. Overall would deff stay a week here!”

“Me and my family has been coming here for years sometimes twice a year. This year in May we was there rooms are definitely out dated nothing been done over the years mattresses are like sleeping on the ground. Room had garbage along the bed and behind the night stands. The bathroom had half roll of toilet paper with something on it. Tub had hair threw out the drain plugged up. Water smelled like sewage when you turned it on. The 1st couple of days was OK when we was there. It was the week before memorial day. The rooms started filling up all night long it was a grand central party yelling running up and down the halls slamming doors screaming at people off the balcony all night long. Are room was filled up with the smell of weed from that room beside us with little kids present in that room. It was bad enough we had to move to another room which was no better. Theirs just no respect in the world some people shouldn't be allowed in public the way they act. And for the resort not to do anything about it is crazy to me when we are spending couple of thousands of dollars compared to couple of hundred. Sad really liked the resort but probably going to be the last time for us.”
“Perfect location for a getaway. Tucked away but close to everything in a short driving distance. The property is perfect with many pools, hot tubs, lazy rivers, tiki bar and breakfast restaurant. Been to the location several times and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend!”

Located on Myrtle Beach with full amenities, several pools & hot tub. Spacious rooms, fully equipped kitchen with high-end appliances & electronics, & beautifully designed for a visitor/family's comfort. Entire resort was meticulously clean AND common areas were amazing thanks to the dedicated & friendly staff.
All 22 of our family members enjoyed our vacation at the Anderson and our five (5) spacious 2-bedroom/2-bath oceanfront suites were excellent with great views of the beach, ocean & surrounding areas. The resort's tech amenities included free Wi-Fi, three (3) large 4K TVs, many channels, laptop/gaming console hookup, and free DVD's. Extra amenities included several onsite meal and snack options, high-end spa, fitness room, miniature golf, free self-parking nearby, and discounts for local entertainment & eating venues.
ANDERSON STAFF was AWESOME and TOTALLY FOCUSED ON GUESTS with friendly greetings, immediate response to requests, and regular check-ins. Staff did a GREAT job in ALL respects, especially Front Desk & Guest Services (Keri, Mayah, Shaqua); Concierge (Taylor & Check-in Team); Bell Hops (Lori & Ron); 21st Floor Cleaning Team; and Engineers especially the one that fixed our drier on his day off.”
“Might not be as Fancy Smancy as these High Rise $300 a night Hotels but I can tell you this, if you need a Clean Room, near Great restaurants, Fantastic Service and for a lot less of the price then this is the place.”

“My wife and I have stayed here many times. The location is good and usually so are the units. This time however we had multiple problems with unit 204. When we first arrived the air conditioning wasn't working. Called the front desk and they sent someone right up and it was a tripped breaker. Then we heard water dipping in the bathroom and it was coming from the ceiling in the shower. If was obvious it wasn't a new problem because the paint and plaster was peeling. Then we couldn't get the TV in the living room to work. Called again and they sent someone up but didn't do anything. The next morning someone knocked on the door and proceeded to unlock it and come in before I get to it. I met the man in my underwear and he asked if we had a TV problem. I told him we did, closed the door and put on some clothes. He brought another remote but still could only get sound but no picture. He hit the side of the TV and the picture came on. He left but every time it was turned on we had the same problem. Also there was no lock on the balcony door and curtain rod was being held up with a zip tie. Then when trying to use the blow dryer mounted on the wall in the bathroom it completely fell off into the floor. Turns out the screws that were supposed to secure it to the wall were missing. None of this was corrected while we were there. When I told them about all this at checkout was told they were going to fix it before the next tenants came in. No one apologized or offered us and kind of compensation for our troubles.”

“My husband and I stayed there overnight on Sunday, June 14, 2026 for the first time, and we departed on the following day. This was a very nice surprise and well worth the wait time to check in at 4pm. Not only is this hotel located in a great area (off the road and away from traffic), the receptionist and/or hostess on duty at the time delivered superb service(very pleasant, approachable, knowledgeable, and professional), and the dining area was roomy and welcoming as well. I appreciated the sign that was posted near the buffet area (where breakfast is served) that informed dog owners not to have their animals in this area. Moreover, the best part of our stay was the immaculate and spacious room. I was in awe of the kitchen area, it was set-up with a stove, a dish washer, a microwave, and full refrigerator. The room was also furnished with an office desk, a sleeper sofa, plenty of lighting, 2 TVs, one king-size bed, a large bathroom, one blow dryer, a iron, ironing board, and a laundry basket to carry your wash in. We were served a hot breakfast before checking out. The only suggestion that I have is to offer an alternative to your pork sausage because everyone does not eat pork. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and Lord willing, we hope to return again! Please keep up the excellent customer service!”

“Great place, friendly environment, and these people here treat you as if your family I mean the food is actually at the restaurant. There’s no better place than the El Dorado right here on the ocean it’s just an amazing place and the bar the restaurant awesome and very convenient very clean place, beds were nice and clean sheets and the beds were made tight fit I mean I was trying to look for a problem, but lol couldn’t find one.. I highly recommend this place!!!?”

“First off, I would love to give a HUGE thank you to event coordinator, Christina Slagle. My wife and I had the wedding of our dreams. After checking with several beach resorts, several of them had issues with wanting to host a wedding on the sand but Hilton Doubletree/The Ellie were more than willing to give us all of the spaces we needed. I was treated to a large suite with a handwritten note and a gift basket with several travel essentials upon entering my room. I hosted my rehearsal dinner at the lobby restaurant and everything was delicious. I took several trips out to the resort during my time spent planning and enjoyed each and every stay. They always have at least one pool warm in the winter too. Thank you guys so much for hosting our weekend that will matter to us forever!”
“We’ve been coming to Forest Dunes since 2022 and it’s always a fantastic time! Obviously it’s not a 5 star hotel or your own personal house, but you know what you’re paying for going into it. The location is AWESOME. Right across the street from the beach, and we must be lucky because every time we’ve come here the stretch of beach directly across from the hotel is so quiet. Our antisocial selves love that. Also the views are amazing, especially on the corner rooms with the floor to ceiling windows! We’ve graduated from getting the 1 bedroom to the 3 bedroom as our family has grown and we still will be coming here for our yearly trip!”
