Updating my review after talking with Scott. My initial review might have been a bit harsh, and due to frustrations caused by an overseas time difference. But Scott's team got the deal done, a feat not many lenders could have pulled off with this difficult investment scenario.... all while handling a boat load of other clients simultaneously. I'm huge on communication, and I felt it could have been much better from his staff... Over communicate, be accessible and responsive. But again, they got the deal done and for that I'm grateful. Thanks Scott!

Not at all professional did not return phone calls not at all helpful for someone moving here from out of state. Very disappointed with their service. Would not recommend.

I had been with Crescom for years, even before it was Crescom. They used to be awesome, really taking care of their customers. As time went on, it was plainly evident that customer service was not the same priority. Horrible to deal with now and do nothing to accommodate the customer. Horrible bank. You are just a dollar sign to them. If I could rate them lower than 1 star, I would.

This bank hits you with so many overdraft fees even after you sign a legal statement that you don't want any overdrafts on your account and Wanda at the 38th Avenue office in Myrtle Beach is very rude!!!!

$206.25 fee to cancel escrow on approximately a 20% LTV. After calling back and speaking with someone else they couldn't explain the $206.25 fee. Perhaps it was an arbitrary fee? Fortunately I was able to pay the loan off and won't be using them again. Still gotta wait two weeks to get my escrow balance!! Filed a complaint a complaint at HelpWithMyBank.gov

Horrible mortgage bankers, they lie and give false statements. In over 20 years I have never had a bad experience as with bankers Allen Robinson. Nothing was done on time, no truth was given, all false. Best to go somewhere else!

WORST BANK I've ever used. You should only use this bank if you NEVER shop online, NEVER travel out of state, and DO NOT want access to your money outside the hours of 8:30am-5pm Monday through Friday. Don't even think about buying anything that costs more than $2,000 unless you want your transaction denied and your debit card locked until you can get someone on the phone, which as I said, can only be done during operating hours Monday-Friday. If you go out of town for the weekend and use your debit card on Friday evening they will lock your account, which means you have NO MONEY until Monday morning. The people who run CresCom Bank are absolute idiots with no vision of reality.

I went into the bank to make a deposit into my IRA, and the deposit was finished. A week later the same deposit was repeated WITHOUT my authorization. I have been on the phone with them every day since Monday to fix this problem (today is Friday), and I have had email correspondence to get this problem fixed EVERY DAY as well. I am officially done with this bank for several reasons. 1. I did not make the second transaction. A teller (who admits her mistake) made it. 2. I should not, under any circumstances, have had to wait for this to be fixed for 5 business days. 3. This mistake could have easily been prevented had THE TELLER actually looked at my account. 4. Why was the teller making an unauthorized deposit from my account WITHOUT me present or without my consent? 5. What if I needed that money to pay a bill? What if my checking account was overdrawn because of their error? Ridiculous and unprofessional

i have been with first south for over 20 years best bank ever and then they up and sell out to big corporate now i am just a number with zero worth to this new bank. i curently have 2 persenal and one business account and cant wait to find my new bank as they do not give a dam about thair customers just how much money they can rip off from you .
