If I lived in the Myrtle Beach area, the Firestone store located at 613 N Kings Hwy would be my choice location to have my vehicle serviced after my recent interaction with Thomas. I live in Ohio and during my recent trip to Myrtle Beach on Saturday 7/20/2024, I started having brake problems. By the time I had gotten to Myrtle Beach late Saturday evening, my left rear brake on my Traverse was metal to metal when the brakes were applied. I spent Saturday evening fretting over what damage I had caused and how was I going to get myself and family safely back to Ohio. I searched the internet looking for car repair businesses and was not having much luck on locating one. I happened to come across this Firestone location being within 10 miles of my location and decided that I would give them a call the next morning (Sunday). Forgetting that most businesses are closed on Sunday, I called this store telling myself that they probably would not be answering the phone and I would have to wait until Monday. I was surprised when Thomas answered the phone and stated that if I could get the car to the Firestone location he would take the time and look at it and let me know what could be done to resolve my problem. I babied my car to Firestone and got there around 9:20am and after explaining my situation to Thomas, my car was pulled into the bay and inspected at 9:30am. Front and rear brakes were inspected with the determination that the front brakes were fine but the rear brakes needed replaced. Thomas went over everything with me on the work that was needed to resolve my problem and assured me that upon their inspection, no major damage had occurred and that once the rear brakes were replaced, my situation would be resolved. Skyler, the tech, replaced my brakes and he road tested my car and signed off on his work by 12:28pm. In 3 hours, my brakes were replaced and the feeling of gratitude to see my car being pulled out of the repair bay and be test driven was absolute relief to me. I am now back in Ohio and the trip home was problem free and the brakes are working properly. I just want to say to Thomas and Skyler, thank you for your time and expertise on addressing and resolving my vehicle problem. I truly owe both of you my piece of mind and thank you for taking a horrible situation that did start out affecting my vacation and turn it around into an enjoyable vacation. Your work ethic and professionalism will always be acknowledged and appreciated by me.

Great place, friendly workers they do great work. The place is clean, They could use more chairs and they could also provide water. And have a small area with a table and coloring books & crayons. Snack machine would be great too.

Tom Baccari at the 7th avenue Firestone is an amazing service manager!!
I spoke with Tom on several occasions about some issues I was having with another repair shop that had done some really shoddy repair work on my car and Tom took the time to look at my car and give me some solid recommendations on what I could do to rectify the situation.
Tom was always polite and professional and very easy going!!
I would highly recommend to go see Tom at this Firestone location because he is a trustworthy and dependable service manager that will treat you right!!
Thank you Tom for taking your time with me and helping me with my situation, it is truly appreciated!!!!

They were extremely helpful and I needed a new tire because there was a hole in the side and it couldn't be repaired. It was close to closing time but they stayed and did the job.

Dillion help me out and saved my vacation. Dillion needs to be appreciated for his hard work and thoughtfulness. Had flat tire and had to ride about 3-7miles on it. Dillion patched it up after ensuring the tire wasn't damaged due to riding on it while flat.

My fist time outside of my dealership service dept so I’m a little spoiled by a more upscale environment. But overall Tom the Mgr was polite and seemed to work a fair deal on 4 tire replacements. I would suggest cleaner restrooms and a coffee/refreshment bar for service guests who wait. Cleaning any grease marks left on the vehicle by mechanics would be another plus.

Went in to get my breaks fixed and an oil and filter change and they did both pretty fast but when I got in my car to leave the check engine light was on. Went back inside to ask them to reset it or turn it off since it wasn’t on when I came in. He was snippy and rude informing me that they don’t check anything without permission so he couldn’t turn it off because I hadn’t mentioned the check engine light when I came in. It wasn’t on when I came in.
Was told the mechanics made note of it being on but no one mentioned this to me. If I’d seen it I would’ve asked them to check it and if they saw it on and knew I didn’t ask about it why wouldn’t they just say ‘hey did you know your engine light is on? You didn’t mention it when you came in so just wanted to let you know’. Anyway He turned it off and it hasn’t been on since but I could’ve done without his attitude.
