“Well, its an Ace Hardware. I wouldn't say it's anything special, they have a decent assortment of things, and propane. As a whole, I like the service you get there, less than the little store itself. Been there dozens of times.Plenty of people to help, and some of them do help. I don't like to run small local businesses under the bus, because we need them. I just wish they were a little more friendly?. It's easy enough to find condescending customer service elsewhere in Newberry. And unfortunately, i probably will go elsewhere, unless I need to.”
“Great selection & great prices.
The store staff are always friendly and helpful with questions you have about different tools. They also go out of their way to help you find something.”
“Mr. Kevin was a God send!! He took so much time helping me and explaining what parts I needed. He asked me about budget and guided me every step of the way! He was much more efficient and thorough than any Google or YouTube search I could have done for my plumbing project. I am so thankful!”
“I was in Lowe’s on Tuesday trying to find certain products, and looking lost.A employee name,. Rosene approached me with a smile She asked what I was looking for.
I told her and she walked with me instead of
pointing at a row.She took time to show me some similar products that I might be interested in .Her customer service was fantastic!! Couldn’t ask for better service.!”
“Really cool and interesting history, not
only of the store and its longevity and eclectic merchandise, but of the family who owns it. Bill Shull is the current proprieter's and Bill's parents were both Doctors, she a PHD in History and he a PHD in Physics. His father, Dr. Cliffird G. Shull also received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1994. You might need a sedative to relax your eyes and mind after taking in all of the nearly overwhelming visual feast of items strewn about inside the store, however, on so many levels it is absolutely worth the trip and stopping by.”
