The Charleston Main Exchange is a military base exchange that offers a range of products and services. While it provides the staple items, the selection is limited, and customers may find it lacking in exciting or new options. The food court is limited to two sandwich shops, but there is a surprising addition of a tattoo shop. Prices are generally great, but some items may be more expensive than nearby Walmart. Customer service can be hit or miss, with some cashiers providing a pleasant experience, while others may be less than enthusiastic. The inventory could be improved, and the gun counter staff has been described as rude. The on-site haircut place has also faced criticism, with prices doubling since the COVID-19 pandemic and poor service when customers decline to tip. Overall, the Charleston Main Exchange provides the essentials, but may not offer the same level of selection and service as it once did.
It's just so small. There isn't much variety available. The people working there are eager to help though! I'd be unhappy if I was stationed there though. ONE restaurant in the food court.

Friendly atmosphere. Very clean. I use a barber service. Easy parking.
