“Absolutely awsome. We had the traditional breakfast, the fat boy, chicken and waffles and a egg white omelet. The biscuits and topping bar can make your day better lol. Grits were on the money too. Five Stars all the way”

“I really want to eat this place because they give you a big choice of food to eat. Granted sometimes the waitress don't come around. Check on you as often as they should but it is a big place. There's lots of places where you can sit and the food like I said is very delicious”

“Visited the Vietnamese market and the fresh seafood was awesome. Actually cheaper than the regular supermarkets in the local area. A good variety of foods. Prices were a little high but this was expected since you normally wouldn’t find these types of foods in the local supermarkets. The place was clean and not crowded.”

“Our family highly values the longstanding commitment and service provided by your grocery store to the Bessemer and Hueytown communities. We commend your resilience in maintaining seven-day-a-week operations despite the presence of large chain competitors. The store's welcoming atmosphere fosters a strong sense of community, creating a familiar and friendly shopping experience for neighborhood residents. My uncle reports that my cousin, a fifth-generation employee, expresses great satisfaction in working for her employer.”

“I eat at Joe's Cuisine probably four times a month. The food is always fresh, excellent and with very good sized portions. They currently only have carryout. The prices are good and the service is fast. Two thumbs up from me!”

“Great times, we don't go to this mall often but we used to. Back in the days this mall was jumping and the food court was full of places to eat. It's kinda like a ghost town now but the places that are still there seem to be good to eat at. My kids really enjoyed it so that's a plus.”

“The thrift store here is one of my top 2 tied for favorite! I also really like the Asian supermarket! The gas station is in a very awkward location, is pretty small, and is a bit sketchy, so I don't buy gas there. I have shopped at the Family Dollar a couple of times here, too. It is a clean store of about average FD size, so it's never been a bad experience if I need to get something there. I just LOVE the thrift store. Super deals, and there are SO many hidden gems to hunt for, too! I have really found some amazing things here that I haven't found at other thrift stores or even estate sales. The employees are helpful and polite. FYI They do NOT have fitting rooms here to try on the clothes, and all sales are final, so dress accordingly. If you wear the right clothes, you can still try any potential clothing purchase on modestly right out on the sales floor. I feel pricing here is fair and that items are priced according to a fair system of policies that rightfully protect the store from not turning a profit. As previous reviews said, prices here used to be MUCH cheaper, but so was EVERYTHING in North Charleston. The store and its employees should not receive negative reviews as a result though. For the past 30 years or so, the area experienced a severe local economic collapse caused by the shipyard closing. There has been a lot of very rapid progress towards restoration of the property values and economic development of N Chas. in the past 3-4 years. That means that their prices should increase some because there are tons more customers shopping here than ever before. That combined with the recent inflation of the cost of everything is going to cause noticeable price increases. There are still tons of great deals to be found here. Especially compared to the other thrift stores in our area. Additionally, the prices ARE reduced to half of the original prices very often. Those are my favorite finds! Keep up the great work, and thanks for all y'all do to maintain an amazing thrifting experience!”

“The bx has some of the finest quality for every day of any place I know. Recently I had to make a visit to return shoes. I haven’t been out much since Covid so the trip I didn’t look forward exactly. I expected long lines. Instead I found a big sign out front directing me exactly where I should go. When I got to the counter the man there was waiting no line just connected to the app knowing I was approaching before I was expected. That caught me off guard. He asked to see my cell phone and it instantly clicked off. No screen. I would later learn I was not connected to the internet I thought something happened to my phone. It is a new cell phone for me and I’m just learning the technology of it. My return was made without me having to wrap it. The sales people were courteous and understood. It took me two tries two associates but they were patient with me. I just turned senior citizen this year. The return was credited to my card almost immediately. The next day I got my product to reorder in exactly the right size delivered to my house. The bx was neat also and brightly lit. It looked new. Thank you.”

“Good parking. Average svc at a few stores. The food court was filthy, dirty tables, overflowing trashcans, and ROACHES. I cleaned my table and chair with my travel cleaning kit. I had a Philly cheesesteak and fries. Saw several roaches Marching under my table and across the top of the table to my right. Vomited, threw out my food and got out of there.”
