“Visiting from Seattle, I often thrift while on vacation. Searched Yelp for a well reviewed thrift, I found Recycled Love and I am so glad I did.I have never been more moved by the mission of a thrift store. Had the blessing of meeting the owner (regret not asking her name), who shared with me her heart for Jesus and how they serve the homeless community with food and hygiene services.Inside the well stocked store is a refrigerator full of individually packed sack lunches which are handed out to those in need daily.I cannot say enough good things about my experience. Not only was the staff warm and kind but the work they do just inspired me.If you are looking for a worthy store or ministry to support, please visit/donate/shop at Recycled Love.”

“I recently had my application reviewed by a counselor and was highly satisfied with my experience. Jewel did an awesome job of breaking everything down with specific directions on what needs to be done for me to become a homeowner. I highly recommend this program for anyone who needs help with becoming a homeowner!!!!!!!!!”

“Lowcountry Food bank is great! They help out communities by providing food to many organizations that help people. At times they even have cat and dog food for the cats and dogs. As long as I’m over the food bank at church, this is where my I will always get my food. Keep helping us fight against hunger Lowcountry Food Bank!”

“I remember sitting and playing video games with kids here in my younger years. This is a great historical place with unlimited potential for our youth and more.We have had the opportunity to do a walk through and to pick Daniel's brain a little. From what we gathered in the near future, lots of amazing things are about to take place for our youth. I know we want to be a part, and so can you this is a nonprofit organization, and I know they can use donations and volunteers to make this happen quickly. COME ON, Y'ALL LET'S GIVE BACK!Daniel help is on the way.”

“Coastal Carolina Council puts the youth first in everything it does by living up to the mission statement: "To prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law". From the newest tiger scout, to the oldest adult, this cornerstone helps shape America's future.”

“The American Red Cross on City Hall Lane in North Charleston is a great place to volunteer and be able to help out so many in the area and beyond. The staff here is dedicated to service and works hard to make sure that resources are maximized and distributed. I have enjoyed being able to help this organization.”

“I recently heard about this thrift store that had bins and I was eagerly excited! I didn't know what I was getting myself into but it was worth a shot! When I first walked in there are these huge blue bins and you can grab one to put in stuff you're interested in! There are so many bins and there are arrows that indicate the walking path through each bin. I will say that the bins aren't thoroughly clean. Random items piled together so I will say it does take time to sort through things. You can find hidden gems on occasion! Around 9:30ish they bring out newer bins for the day and people went crazy for that! I was shook honestly. Everything is by the pound. Books are roughly 79 cents a pound and clothes are 1.69 a pound. (Don't quote me on the prices) If you end up finding stuff you take your cart and place it on the scale and pay for your items! I bought a dress, skirt, sweater and cardigan for three dollars. I'd say it was good overall! I definitely will bring some gloves next time and a bag afterwards to put in my things! Pretty fun experience. This is the clearance store! Right next to it is a regular goodwill!”

“All adult clothing were $4.89 but then with military discount, it went down to $4.40. Children’s clothing were $2.49- everything else priced super affordable. Nice clean facility, with lots of options. The only complaint I have is that the team lead , Raven, is absolutely despicable. Both my husband and myself almost said something to her because she was so rude to our cashier Denise when she had a question! Raven came up to the register annoyed that Denise had to ask her a question, then proceeded to talk down to her as if she was an idiot and continued with rolling her eyes and shaking her head as she reluctantly helped her with her question. Denise kept apologizing that she bothered her, to which Raven did not respond to. As a person in a “lead” position, you should have a willingness to help people and respect those you work with!”
