Great store and kept well clean. I think the staff is phenomenal minus Wanda. I was checked out at 16:09 1/29/24. She picked up the previous customers basket then when it came to me she told me that I needed to put it back at the entrance. I asked what she did with the previous customers and she shrugged her shoulders like it didn't matter because she told me. I proceeded to place down the cart to ring out first. However it was so incredibly important for Wanda to prove some point that she stopped what she was doing to walk 3 yards away from the register to put my basket away even though the one she picked up for a previous client was still behind her. Then I still had to wait on her to let the charge go through. The whole line waited longer because of her choices. Also putting back the baskets is her job.If she is a manager she has control issues. You do not tell customers to do things. She needs to treat her customers equally and not be rude to me or the other customers in line because of her ego.

Last Sunday, I went to the Dollar Tree. The store really needs to stock up on some more items and the lady with the braids and wearing a mask who's at the register, I don't like her. I don't know if it's the rules to leave your bookbag up front because I never carried a bookbag into a store before as well been to Dollar Tree in person. Cashiers are most likely to do something sketchy to somebody's bookbag such as stealing or going through someone's personal belongings. When I was setting my bookbag down after I was told to do so, the lady glared at me like I said something that offended her but I didn't. It seems like she wants to fight a college student over a freaking bookbag and acts like the bookbag is hers when I was looking at MY bookbag, making sure it's safe but she decided to stare at me while I was shopping. I can't look at my bookbag making sure it's safe? Unbelievable. I will never come back to this store ever again. I'd rather go to Family dollar, Dollar general, or Walmart because those stores are better and people there are better.

This particular location (Rivers/Ashley Phosphate) is ideally located but they are super struggling. This particular one does have a frozen section and the store itself is fairly large. However it is constantly messy and/or low on supplies (if you see it, buy it because it 90% of the time won't be there your next trip). It isn't the messiest one I've seen seen and at least boxes are usually not in way of aisles. The cashiers are usually nice but clearly overworked. They have long lines that 1-2 people have to try to manage and I've watched them get yelled at by shoppers for things not their fault. The stockers tend to be a little weird and/or very loud (I overheard one's conversation today with a shopper that she apparently knew that should have been *very* private). From my experiences over the past few years, Management seems to hide in their office up front or somewhere in the back instead of really helping to check out (or as often as they should) or even helping to tidy the store. I came in almost right at opening today and it looks like no one did a cleanup recovery. I've worked in retail at the mall across the street, so I'm familiar with North Charleston clientele and business volume. I also know what a PAIN in the butt it is to CONSTANTLY being cleaning a store that shoppers are just gonna trash again but daily detail/cleanup does makes it easier to maintain. All in all, I shop here, will continue to and promote others to do so too but just don't have great expectations.

This is one of the "largest" dollar tree stores in the area, both in size and amount of products. You can often find items that are not available in any other locations nearby.* Please note, due to the restrictions of the city, they carry paper bags and ones without handles. If you don't use those, I'm sure you can use the reusable ones you bring in.

Dollar Tree Store# 1153. Store associate Rhonda needs to work on her attitude. Very disrespectful. The store needs to make sure items are restocked. Will not be shopping at dollar tree anymore.

Alow me to prep my statement: the majority of service industries are experiencing hardship. This store, on hifher pt of Rivers was the cleanest I've seen . The shelve wasn't repleniahed nor the tidiest . Cashier was pleasantly engaging?

One particular cashier that works there need to stop asking customers to take there items out of the basket if she's that lazy maybe she need to find another job. I work for my earn money to come there to shop and she will work for hers dealing with me as a customer. I will not do their jobs and spend my money too.
