Pilot Travel Center in Charleston, SC, is part of the Pilot Flying J network, which has over 750 locations across the U.S. and Canada. It offers friendly service, clean restrooms, and a wide range of amenities for travelers and professional drivers. The center provides fuel options including gas, diesel, and DEF, with high-speed pumps and EV charging stations for electric vehicles. Visitors can enjoy Wi-Fi, overnight parking, showers, and a variety of fresh food, snacks, drinks, and coffee, making it a convenient stop on the interstate. The staff is generally nice and professional, and the location is open 24/7, catering well to professional drivers. However, some issues have been noted, such as trucks parked for long periods blocking spots and making it hard to find parking, as well as trucks, cars, and other vehicles parking haphazardly, sometimes blocking entrances, exits, and fuel pumps. Reserved parking may sometimes be unavailable, and there have been suggestions for management to better manage long-term parking spots. Despite these minor concerns, Pilot Travel Center remains a decent and essential stop for travelers and drivers in Charleston.
