“First time Ive ever been here, and they had the BEST SQUEEGIES I've ever seen, brand new, which was critical because we just had tr he DIRTIEST RAIN I've ever seen also, it must have rained mud. Thank you for keeping up the good squeegies, that's a funny word.”
“Thank you for going above and beyond for the kiddos! Melanie (I believe is her name, I know it begins with an M), was so sweet in helping me with pizza! We are in the middle of moving and it was so nice to end the day that way.
This shopette is getting renovations that are top notch! They stalk basic health supplementa (protein), easy grab and go meals, and a good wine selection.”
“This is by far the best Mexican food in Charleston. I used to think El Molino was the best but this place is much better. Their burrito’s are outstanding! They make everything fresh you may have to wait a bit but the wait is well worth it. Highly recommend!”
“8.18.24 We stopped in here for a bathroom break after leaving the boat landing.
Ashley was the cashier who was on duty and she was just a lovely person. That's pretty interesting
I told her that I was doing a google review on her store because it was the cleanest and freshest smelling store/gas station I have been in and the bathroom was immaculate!
Kudos to this HT! AND ASHLEY!”
“This is the best bowling establishment in the tri county area. The games are reasonably priced. The beer is reasonably priced. I appreciate paying by the game and not the hour- I hate places that do that.”
“This is a hidden gem. Great service! Amazing food! Fast and correct delivery of food ordered. Love the ease of ordering online. The steak and cheese with fries is best in the area! Must try if in the area!”
“Nice Vape collection & decent price, good beer selection, craft beer ,thc drinks ,they almost sell every thing, Late night open weekend they close midnight.must visit”
“I have known the owners and operators of the V-Go stations since their first day open and let me tell you to this day they treat me like family with nothing but kindness and respect. They all have gone out of their way to get me products they may not have carried, to letting me pay them back later when I didn't have enough money for my purchases. ALWAYS friendly and helpful I will look continue to support these people and their businesses for the rest of my life. They should be very proud of what they have accomplished here in Charleston. Thank you Sanjay and family for always making me feel appreciated!”
“I love this place. They are always friendly and will carry the things I like the most. I asked for a certain product and they order it for me each week now. That's top notch customer service in my book and creates a loyal customer out of me.”
“VGO on Saint Andrews Boulevard in West Ashley is a great place to go for gas and a convenience store when you need that quick and fast stop. I like that they have quality gas without ethanol at a really good value and it is easy to get in and out of the location. The store is well managed and the staff here is very helpful and accommodating.”
“This gas station get much customers that come through its doors however even though the store is clean the bathrooms be horrible. My bladder for some reason always works around this place and this is where I sometimes have to stop cuz it's convenient but I've seen pregnancy tests on the floor tissue is always on the floor for it not to have any napkins there's always something on the floor and it has a smell they need to put some type of deodorizer in there.”
“Very nice couple that runs this store. It's always clean, well-stocked and they don't have it tell them and they will make sure they have it for you, the next time you come in.Ms. Mona is always a delight to see in the mornings when you may be in a hurry or still half asleep. She is always a nice ray of sunshine to start the morning off right. They have a great variety of drinks and snacks. I'm a regular shopper there.”
“Got into the city late at night and they were the only thing open. Cashier set me up with some frozen pizzas and Jalopeno chips. Great little corner store. Reminded me of my childhood.”
“I’ve been attending this store for many years. Being a college student and finding a place friendly and satisfactory is J&W grocery. In all the years I’ve stopped in the store, I’ve never had a negative experience and I’ve been in there probably more times than I can count. Keep up the great work guys!”
“Great gas station with immaculate service! Furman was very attentive and cleaning thoroughly as I walked in I was immediately greeted and helped! Couldn’t ask for a better experience in a gas station. This one does it!”

“Wow, we finally get a modern, reliably open 24hr, clean, well stocked staffed mini-mart this side of the connector, and 3 stars with people b!tching about the service? First, your not out for a night at the ritz. Simple, walk into store, select items, complete transaction, move along. Avoid interruptions to this seemingly simple system - everything stays convenient.
Second, I’ve never found the staff to be anything but delightful - as charming as I would expect at 2am to take my money in exchange for a tall boy and cigs.
Don’t forget - what we’ve consistently had on this side of James and John’s, whackamole to see which 24hr store was going to actually be open past 10pm.
Thank you ReFuel. Let’s get that rating up.”
“Super friendly owners, has everything you need! I've cream treats for the kiddos, beer and wine, perfect spot to pop in for a soda or snack. Can't wait to come back.”
“Nicest man!! And he carries everything and anything you could ever want in a convenience store. The owner is so kind and helpful. We were staying close by and visited the market twice. He even introduced us to a new seltzer that we came back for. Great experiences both times!”
“An incredible craft beer selection, with far better choices than the grocery store down the road. Plenty of cheap beers as well, when you are not wanting to spend as much. Stays open late and is staffed by friendly folk. It's what you would want from a convenience store if you took the time to sit and think about what you wanted from a convenience store.”
“Had the pleasure of visiting this shop while on vacation in Charleston. There are many great souvenirs to choose from. I purchased a few snacks from the snack section located on one side of the store and souvenirs from the other side of the store. Customer service was okay. If you are looking for some keepsakes I would suggest check this location out. Parking is a hassle to find. There are public parking garages or street parking (with meters, if you can find any free spaces).”
“Ashley was absolutely wonderful today. She quickly updated my profile to include easier-to-open tops because of my arthritis, and she even picked up over-the-counter cough medicine for me so I wouldn’t have to come in and spread my germs.
She went above and beyond, and her kindness meant so much. You did a great job hiring her — she is a truly exceptional human and employee.”

“A decent enough little gas station. Decent selection of snacks, sodas and beer. The cashier was polite and friendly. Good location. Easy in and out at the pumps. The store itself was clean and well organized.”
“Amazing customer service ?? experience at the pharmacy inside or at the drive-thru. The pharmacy techs (I apologize if I got their titles wrong) are out of this world. I’m always greeted with a smile, positive energy and the willingness to help. It’s never an issue when scripts are sent in from the doctor’s office, and are filled in a timely manner.”
“love the porch here and all the kinds of good food and drink they have here. they got burgers, pizza, chicken sandwiches, sausage biscuits (although they are always out of stock because of how good they are, at least when i go there) and more, also the boiled peanuts are good and they take all kinds of payment so that's never an issue. overall great place they just better keep those sausage biscuits in stock all day”

“I was in Charleston working and staying at a local hotel. I became very sick with bronchitis and needed to get four prescriptions I wanted to just go back to my hotel room and rest for a day or two and the Walgreens clerk initially said that it would be 45 minutes to get them filled.I felt so ill I didn’t feel like I could wait that long. But I decided to ask the pharmacist if there was anything I could take with me back to the hotel for over the counter so that I could try to get back out in the morning to pick them up the prescriptions. The pharmacist, MORGAN, was so incredibly caring and helpful. She said she would fill my prescriptions as soon as possible so I did not have to come back out the next morning to pick them up. This was so helpful because being from out of town on a work trip there was no one that could run back out for me in the morning. MORGAN got them ready within about 10 minutes. I’m so thankful to her. She’s such a caring healthcare worker. I am very grateful to her”

“In a city known for world-class restaurants, we were looking for a change of pace, a lighter touch, some tasty sweets. We found them at King Street Cookies. Located at 370 King Street in downtown Charleston, South Carolina, at Calhoun, near Marion Square, it is an old-fashioned cookie shop offering a variety of gourmet cookies, ice cream, milk shakes, slushees, baked goods and even gluten free cookies and bagels. Open from 8 to 8 Monday through Friday, 9 to 9 on Saturday and 9 to 8 on Sunday, King Street Cookies features 35 creative flavors of cookies. Browse the showcase and take your pick. My favorites are oatmeal raisin, chocolate chip, German chocolate, praline pecan and salted caramel. My wife's favorites are white macadamia, chocolate chip pecan, fudge pecan, peanut butter chocolate chip and toffee crunch. But how can we pass up peachy keen, chocolate chip M&M, ginger snap, peanut butter, chocolate crunch, choco choco crunch, apple delight and cranberry pecan? Get the message? King Street Cookies is a popular go-to destination for kids and adults of all ages. Even 80-year-old retirees.”
“We passed by this place and decided to check it out. This is a bulk item store with many grocery products and supplies. The staff was friendly and helpful. Prices are not full retail, but comparable to Sam's Club. The real gem of this store was the candy room! It was amazing!! Full of many vintage candies and all my current favorites.”
