“I absolutely love this store! They have such an amazing variety of items! They had huge blackberries in the store on August 1st that looked heavenly! I wish I could have bought them, but time constraints prevented me. They have local produce, art of multiple kinds & tons of unusual canned & baked goods. Don't miss this place if you are in the area!”
“This was a great Food Lion! I went on the Fourth of July weekend, and even though the store was packed to what seemed like full capacity, the staff did a great job, and I was still able to get in and out very quickly. They also had a nice selection of beach equipment outside of the store, and an extensive selection of national and local brands of beer inside of it. I also loved their Bakery & Deli section, which looked like a great place to grab some fresh food at an affordable price and with relative ease.
My only word of advice would be to be very careful in the parking lot, especially if you’re there over the course of a holiday, as it’s packed pretty tight and there are people (including kids) walking everywhere.

“this was a nice store, and it’s definitely a bonus that it’s open pretty late because when we went here two days ago it was too late to go to most other grocery stores.
i’m only subtracting a star because the apples and other fruits didn’t look fresh, so we spent a while trying to pick out good apples and could only find a few. other than that, this store is great!”

“the employees of this dollar general deserve more than a raise! they are wonderful employees and are always sweet and go above and beyond for that store. they had to work weeks last year with zero AC because cooperate wouldn’t fix it and they still showed up for work. dollar general as a company needs to do better for their employees.”
“This morning I stopped by the Dollar general in pawleys Island, of course I went in for one item and came out with five bags, I had the pleasure of meeting the manager of the store and he was absolutely phenomenal! Great customer service from him and the staff! I highly recommend that even if you only need a few items, this is the place to go!”
