“Hey I live not far behind this store and it's a nice little ol'store. I mean it's not your big brand store so as a local store it deserves your business. The employees are always nice and actually one of the cheapest places I've seen for gas which this unfortunately ain't that cheap but that's all I'll say about gas prices!”

“Some of yall are weird. 1 star for only having 1 diet Dr. Pepper? 2 stars cause you had to hold down the handle of the pump?Idk about the lady being rude. There's normally a few sides to each story. Not to mention, 90% of you claim to have never been in this store. 70% of you come with that "you're in America" speech. Yall realize 90% of us are traced back to someone who had to fight thru the "you're in America now" stuff.... your great grandma's would be so proud.This is what I know.... I lived down the road from here for 4 years. Saw Neil, his family, and employees just about every day. We moved 2 years ago and stopped by there the next week. Neil asked how our move went, asked about our dog, and still had her favorite snack. He always made sure he had our regular items, asked about our kid, and checked on us if he didn't see one of us for a few days.They good people”

“Store appears well kept. For a small country town it's happens to have a big city convenient store open 24/7. It was early thirty when I came thru. During their early am into late pm shifts there's a of consistent stream of customers. But don't hesitate to stop in because the associates here keeps customer flow at a steady pace so you're in & out in no time. I'd say the only issue I've ever experienced is the beer isn't as cold as the other local competition offers, other than the warm beer all else seems to keep me coming.”

“If you live near this store, you should he buying here. Gas is ALWAYS cheaper here than anywhere else in this area and there isn't much that a person might need in a hurry that you can't buy here. They literally have everything!! And the cashier is ALWAYS nice, kind, considerate and respectful of everyone!! I would recommend Jakes's to everyone...especially my friends and family.”
