“We took quite a detour to get to this enterprise and were very glad that we did. The main purpose was to get their somewhat famous country ham. They also offer simple bunwiches of pulled pork, cheap and delicious. We split half a chicken and there was a red hot hot dog enjoyed out in the cool wind and warm sun, maybe one of the most genuine feeling meals I’ve enjoyed in a long time.”
