Paisley understood my needs and brought out a pair of Altras, a shoe I would have never selected, they were far from traditional! I bought them, but also purchased a pair of my reliable Brooks for back up even though they have a generous return policy. I love my Altras, and the experience I had at Gotta Run Spartanburg. I will return.”

“We come in every sport season and shoe change of size- for last 3 years. Sometimes find something sometimes not. But everyone is pleasant. Today we returned a new to us- but used pair of cleats that had broken off the sole 20 minutes into BB practice .
At first they offered store credit for full value. We looked around but my son is in men’s sizes and there was not anything. So I asked what the other options were with my return. The usual guy says he can do $15 cash back on a $32 purchase as if a sale price.
I asked- so why do I take the cut when you guys should not have set those shoes out? Those should have never been accepted for sale.
The young lady offers to call the manager (she knows a Karen when she hears one!) and got approval to refund full amount.
So blessings to the manager who wants happy customers. Maybe train the front desk to see the problem from the customer’s POV.”

“I would like to share my recent experience with the American Eagle store at Westgate Mall in Spartancheburg , South Carolina. I have been a fan of American Eagle jeans for about twenty years. I am now 61 years old. Back at Christmas , I bought a pair of what used to be called skinny kick jeans in the size that I used to wear. I did not even try them on until this past week., the week of February 8, 2026. For reasons, I don't need to get into they were way too big, and I knew that I had discarded the receipt. I called the store and explained my situation. ALL tags were still on the jeans.I had simply slid them on one time and slid them right back off. I spoke with 2 very pleasant young ladies and they were holding some jeans to try in smaller sizes same style. I was a little late getting up there , but they had three pair waiting for me to try on even though I was running about an hour late.They were very attentive in helping me. The assistant sales manager, Lexie is delightful. Kind, very accommodating, and professional ....at only 20 years old. The other sales girl that day was Chloe. She ran her little legs off for me and kept opening the dressing room door as I kept locking myself out! Chloe is only sixteen years old and a part time worker. Both girls were very personable , attentive. Their personal working relationship was positive and evident. Before I left the store , we were all laughing! To the parents of these young ladies ... good job! To American Eagle...good hire! These two young ladies represent your company well. In a world where we always seem to hear about is the negatives regarding our country's youth, these two are a testament to what happens when things go right and children make good choices. And of course , the quality of my kick jeans are every bit as good as I remembered. But you have to have the right people to represent you to be a true success. You have certainly done it with these two fine young ladies.❤”
