Jessica Delagarza Customer Care ManagerLet me inform you that no one has reached out to me since I picked up my vehicle. To add to my issues I decided to go to the carwash where my front bumper cover fell off due to only having 2 plastic clips on each side out of 8 holding the bumper cover on. Pure laziness not to put all the clips and bolts in required to hold the bumper on. I haven't heard from this Erik k. This company has not returned any of my calls or complaints made to corporate... so disappointing!!!!!

my car was damaged first of year- they were authorized to fix it- finally they took it in for inspection- it is now November and my car has still not been repaired after almost 9 months since accident- I am calling my insurance company on Monday so they find a trustable business to fix my car!!

wish i could leave no stars. we had our 2012 mazda 6 bumper replaced due to an accident. went to pick it up just to see a gap under the driver side tail light. was told they have to order a bumper from mazda and not have a generic brand. waited another week just for them not replace the bumper (i assume) because it's so much worse and such a bigger gap. we're a military family and we can't drop everything to keep taking our car back and forth to gerber. it's ridiculous and tiring.

I’ve read the previous reviews and was real weary about dealing with this company. This is where USAA chose for my car repair. I have dealt with the ladies at the front desk for two weeks now. I have been in the shop and called on the phone multiple times. I have to be honest here, I did not see anything during my experience with Gerber to make me believe these reviews.I was called Ms. Willis, heard thank you and please every time I dealt with these ladies. I was treated with respect and was listened to. They were thorough and honest.I would recommend my friends and family to Gerber in Summerville.They have had a change in staff at the front desk and I applaud them for finding respectful people to help us customers!Well done Gerber! Well done!!Thank you for restoring my faith after reading some of these negative reviews.

Went for an estimate on June 26. Was told they were going to send me and my insurance company the estimate. I spoke to the guy who was at the desk before receiving an estimate. He told me they were scheduling forSeptember. I saw that my insurance company paid them so I called to see what day in Sept I was scheduled for and was told I did not have an appt but could schedule for November 1st.Totally unacceptable. Never again!!!

Fixed my Charger after a small accident - wasn't expecting to get the vehicle back so quickly but they definitely got the work done quickly and efficiently - work was done satisfactorily and the crew was nice.

Disorganized and unprofessional. V see Ryan disappointed after multiple text and emails from them confirming my appointment, they seemed to not know anything about it. I took my business elsewhere.

I've been calling these people for 3 days trying to get an appointment!!! EVERYTIME I call, I'm placed on hold and noone ever comes back to the phone. The ONE day that the receptionist (I assume) called me initially to schedule an appointment for my car's appraisal, I could barely hear her and she has absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever. My insurance company recommended them but I opted NOT to go there for my appraisal!! First impressions are LASTING ones!

These people have cancelled our appointment to be seen 2 times! 1 time they claimed I didn’t show up for the appointment while my wife was standing in there lobby and this time while standing in there office early for our appointment these bottom feeders called our phone and canceled our appointment! I advise strongly against this place for anything annd I informed state farm they should reconsider doing business with places like this. Avoid this place at all cost!!Services: Painting

The old John Harris staff was extremely helpful and thoughtful. I guess the staff left when the name changed! Very rude to talk on the phone and in person! Took forever to make an appointment and when appointment was made had to wait 30 minutes past my appointment time to even speak with representative! I would have taken vehicle to another shop but insurance insisted on Gerber! I received quote and left, I will not leave my vehicle with Gerber Collision. Paperwork was all messed up to insurance company! They just seem unorganized and I'm professional.

Gerber was one of the places to choose from to have my car checked out, by an adjuster, after it was backed into while parked. The other guy's insurance connected me with them to have my car repaired. The front desk staff, Taylor and Amber, were very friendly and accommodating. The adjuster/repairer, Will, was equally as friendly and easy to talk with. I arrived at my appointed time, last week, and was seen promptly right after. They forwarded an estimate to insurance and explained next steps thoroughly to me. An appointment was made for a week later for me to drop off my car and I was given the same friendly service as before. They contacted the rental car place as they checked in my car so they could come pick me up. I was told later that day, at closing, that my car may be ready for pickup the following day. Wow! Now that's great customer service. It was first estimated that it could take about a week based on part availability and once they pulled my car apart, whether other damage would be located. Well, no additional damage to report and quick, quality service. I was called the next day to say it was indeed ready for pickup. I highly recommend that you use them for any collision concerns and repair work. The are a top notch company.

Pulled in the entrance of the business. A car is parked in the middle of the entrance. After waiting I decided to go around him and pull into a parking spot in front of the building. As I passed the parked car I hear somebody say, you could have waited.I went inside of the business and asked for the manager, which I was told by a man and woman , they don’t know where he is. The woman asked me what’s the problem?From the attitude in the parking lot to the attitude inside, I do not recommend using this body shop.There are plenty of body shops in the Lowcountry.

My wrecked car got taken here for repairs and after finding out it was totaled 2 months later… I came to get my stuff out of my vehicle but they refused to give me the key to my vehicle luckily the doors were unlocked but the trunk would not open. I got the insurance involved but they couldn’t do much so I told them I would not release the car until I get the key to my car so I can get the rest of my items out and they insisted that they gave me the keys!! Finally I go back to get my aftermarket’s pipes off my wrecked vehicle and the manager has magically found my keys in the office e after lying about how he already gave me them so I go to remove the rest of my items to find my whole car has been rummaged through including glove box , middle console and my jack was missing from my trunk!! This place is very messy and disrespectful, I would highly recommend going somewhere else with integrity.
