Management is not good DO NOT MOVE HEREWe always always always have issues with paying our rent but they're quick to tack on those late fees! Not to mention our motorcycle got stolen while living here, no notice was posted to warn other tenants until SOMEONE ELSES bike also got stolen. Do not move here if you're looking for an easy move in!!

So I have lived here for nearly 2 years, would have left after the first year but couldn’t afford to. If you continue your lease your rent goes up, at a much higher rate than new tenants. This is supposed to be a gated community, but none exist. As well as their key fob system that allows you gym access and the pool. 2 years they still haven’t figured it out. For trash removal which they charge needs to be in a black can. Ok they provide it. If they had any that is. So what happens, I get hit with a $75 fine. Been up there many times for the can, put it in their notes. No can and was told I didn’t receive the email. This place is not worth what you will spend, no parking, no amenities unless it’s office hours and lack of staff and communication. Oh and we had 2 cars shot out in our lot. Not my car

I would choose one of the other 200 Apt complexes around Summerville/N. Charleston. To start the place is always trashed. No like really trash is everywhere. They evict people like 5 times per month and just throw their belongings outside on the ground and its usually a lot of trash with it.You have a 5-day window to pay rent, or you get charges a $163 late fee and a threat left on your door that if you don't pay rent plus the late fee in 5 days you will be evicted. Then they have this guy who leaf blows like 3 days a week to blow the bugs out of the breeze ways and he just blows trash and dead bugs into the doorway of your apartment and tips over your trashcans. leaves it looking worse than before. Valet trash never shows up, but you are forced to pay for it.Then the water bill... you're going to pay $185/month for sewer and around $90/month for water. There is a fire hydrant leaking and has been for about 5 months and they just subsidize the cost by splitting it among the residents. They sent an email that they "investigated" they high water bills and then follow up with that its "normal"... Legit we are here while waiting on our home to become available. I watered grass in July in SC and in a 4-bed home and never paid more than $110 for sewer before.Rent here is not competitive with nicer places around town when you start adding up all their fees. The bathrooms have mold growing in them. Like under the showers/fossettes the overflow drains etc. Bottom half is covered in black slime. Even the toilets have it.You will have a bug problem...The apt we moved into was disgusting. Nothing like the model they showed us. There was food left in the dishwasher from the prior residents. The rugs smelled like urine and pretty much just generally dirty. The guest bedroom door had what we think was catchup or bbq sauce all over the back of it.The front office is pretty useless. They don't really do much besides sign people up to rent. They really have no experience in property management, or they simply do not care. Any time we have a problem, they send a maintenance guy who comes up with an excuse on why things cannot be fixed or how they are not broken. Some of the laziest people you could think of. They will deflect everything.

Zero stars! Don't do it!I was moving from out of town and put an application and payment on a 3 bedroom in July. They wouldn't answer the phones and I had a friend stop by. Apparently, their "system crashed" and they gave away my 3 bedroom apartment that I applied for. I had one week until I needed to start my new job. They offered me a 2 bedroom on the 3rd floor until the next 3 bedroom would be available on the first week of August. The first week of August, I had movers scheduled and I went to go pick up the keys. NO Apartment was available. At this point I was told it wouldn't be ready until September 30th. Ok. I canceled the moving company. I have two small children and a dog with a bad knee and the 2 bedroom on the third floor has been a nightmare.I reached out the third week in September to confirm the 3 bedroom apartment would be ready and they had no idea what I was referring to. I shared emails and the property manager told me yes, it will be ready on the 2nd. SATURDAY THE 29TH, I RECEIVED A PHONE CALL STATING NO YOU CANT. TRANSFER until the 10th. SO, now I have to cancel my moving company for a second time. Keep in mind that I'm a single mom with a 2 and 6 year old. We have been living out of boxes for way too long. This place is a mess.

Do NOT move here. They draw you in with an awesome staged apartment and on the outside it looks great. However, you can NEVER reach anyone by phone, they throw in an insane amount of charges in addition to your rent every month, we didn't have access to the pool or amenities the whole first month we were here but paying a CAM fee that changes every month based off of whatever maintenance they do that month. Reported to the office that we had MOLD in at least 2 places in the apartment but it took 2 weeks to get any help. Weve had a sprinkler leak in a bed room that still has a hole in the ceiling with no confirmation when they will fix it. I'm extremely unhappy with our residence here and wish we could cut ties with no penalty solely due to the horrible experiences we've had here. It's a shame to spend hard earned money on rent every month when they want to not live up to even the smallest expectations. This place will literally nickel and dime you for everything. We just got a bill for water, sewer, trash compacting (on top of $30 mandatory valet trash) and these CAM charges for over $250 for one month.... Water and sewer for a 2 bed 2 bath apartment....

I would not recommend applying here. They NEVER answer the phone. You have to stop by in order to speak with someone. The additional fees you have to pay which include water, sewer, valet trash, ground maintenance, and trash compactor fees are $200 on top of your rent a month. I was never informed about that until I recently ask. Im so glad I did before signing a lease with them. That price is ridiculous and not even worth it. They waited to collect my money before even telling me about the additional fees. You can definitely find some place better. They claim to be under new management but have never seemed friendly or welcoming when I arrived. I would seriously do your research before moving here. The reviews are so true.

Honestly was super disappointed the first week. Unit wasn't cleaned after previous guess, the co2 alarm went off for a week, and multiple things were broken. I feel like the apartments have a lot of potential but there's a lot that needs improvement. The unit itself is nice and spacious, it was just poorly taken care of previously. The staff didn't really seem to take my roommate and I very seriously about these issues at first, but as soon as we contacted the regional manager Isaiah McGinley, everything got taken care of. He was very helpful and kind about everything. There is a lot of improvement needed on the complex but I think they recently transitioned management companies and I'm understanding of the fact that could be a difficult process towards the beginning so I'm hoping it's only uphill from here.

I truly appreciate the kindness of the Leasing staff, specifically Daniella, Jay and Madison. Thank you for how you have accommodated my client and continue to support and respond to questions and requests. You all are the best!

I'm currently a resident and have lived here for years. While out of town handling my late mother's estate, I get surprised with two "maintenance" men in the apartment on camera. No email or phone call to notify us about the inspection, only a paper on the door. It wouldn't have felt so violating if it wasn't for the disrespectful and hurtful comments by these men about my cat's litter box, their unnecessary rummaging and commenting on my belongings and then the office not answering any phone calls or offering any apologies. They reverted to the usual "not their problem" attitude and wanting to talk to my husband, even though I pay just as much rent and am just as much of a tenant. He tried to call to get contact information for the contracting company, but no answer on the phones. To have people enter the place you live and laugh, bully and go through your belongings while going through the loss of a loved one who would have never had done such things, makes it that much more painful.(Note: When we returned from being out of town the next day, no notice was on the door like they had claimed about an inspection. We also realized it smelled like spices and food in our apartment, the man's comments were racist in nature and caught on camera. The documents he was caught looking at was our mail.)

We haven’t even moved in yet and we’re already over this place. The communication is very slack. I should not have to call multiple times just to get the lease sent over to me. They clearly don’t want our business and no one seems to actually know what they’re doing. They are very unprofessional, especially the leasing manager. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else. We might as well stay where we are at this point. There’s no sense of urgency but yet they want us to move in tomorrow. We’re going to be moving on to something else.

Current resident here. Been here since the End of March. Our water bill for one week was $70. Currently waiting for the next and I heard they split the water bill between the units verses how much one unit actually uses. I heard the water bills be over $300. Now when we moved in the apartment looked like someone just moved out. Nothing was done. I had turned in my move in sheet for them to have maintenance work on the things that were wrong and boy o boy. Here it is some time later (with a new and awesome maintenance man) the last of the stuff getting fixed. Is it worth paying over $1700 for this place?? Nope… every review that you see if true. The office doesn’t answer the phone. The bugs as well. I don’t have a huge issue with roaches but I’ve had seen 3 since I’ve been here but the wasp and moths are ridiculous as well. The trash problem is crazy. I also put in a maintenance request on Monday and no one came.. why you ask?? Oh because he just got the request on Thursday (today. I had to go into the office for them to even acknowledge the work order). I thought maintenance had 24hrs to respond to a work order. Now this new guy they hired (Bobby) is awesome! But he can’t maintain this apartment complex by himself. They need to hire him some good help! Will I renew my lease next year??? Nahhhh it’s not worth the money. Cars have also been broken into out here. These older kids don’t listen and destroy the pool then the office will make everyone suffer verses the ones who doing it. Their excuse is “we don’t know who the kids belong to” well ma’am if you knew your residents then you will know. Maybe the office staff should interact with the residents more. Throw a cookout or A “pool party” have the residents come out and meet each other. Then you will solve the problem with not knowing who the kids belong to. Only get two stars for me. One for the maintenance guy Bobby! And the other for the actual apartment. It’s a decent size. Other then that I do not recommend. The only time the office doing anything is when corporate arrives. Only time you see them caring. Other then that DO NOT RECOMMEND. Not worth the money. I’ll rather pay $2k for a place knowing I’m getting my money worth vs this here..

Very racist and disrespectful to younger tenants. They over charge your account and only dispute it when you point it out. THEY DONT ANSWER THE PHONE! This is not a gated community as promised nor is the gym open 24 hours as promised. Yet they charge for protection & isolation. The gates are wide open, resulting in 2 TWO home invasions that wouldn’t of happened if we had a gate. 3 people have died in these apartments in 8 months. The building managers do not like confronting these problems. Multiple tenants have signed petitions to remove them from front office. Any attorneys that can help file law suits please respond !!!! I have names as well.

I don’t write reviews on places. This place is a scam. Don’t trust the rent. They are just going to charge you an absurd amount of hidden fees every month that aren’t stated in the lease anywhere. Somehow I pay more in sewer here than a house does and they kicked is they control all the account except for electricity so you can’t even see the bill breakdown. They don’t fix anything and this place is a total scam. Just avoid it and pay the extra $100/month more to live somewhere else.

We had several issues when moving here. The assistants were NO HELP. But Britney was a true Joy. She worked with us, kept her door open to speak with us, and helped us throughout the moving process. She worked immensely hard to help us and showed great compassion! She is the gem that this Company needs!

After an apartment fire from another complex we were looking to move someplace else. We applied at Latitude and was told we were supposed to move in on 11/7. We agreed to the date and proceeded with our move-in. THE DAY of we were told that we couldn't move in to our apartment and that we would have to wait 1 week later. They moved un into a temporary space until our apartment was ready. Again the day that we move in to our place we got another surprise that the apartment was INFESTED with ROACHES. They told us that it was "livable" and that we could move in. We asked if we could stay in the temp apartment, until they at least spayed. We stayed 1 night - and it was TERRIBLE. Roaches were everywhere. Our son went to warm up some pizza, left the pizza on the counter to use the restroom and he cam back to roaches on the pizza. We finally decide to MOVE and now they have now recollection or solution for the issues that we had. We signed a lease for a space that we NEVER moved into and they said we OWE money. for a space that we never lived in. Brittany has been the ONLY person that has been helping us while the OTHERS in the office will definitely treat you as inferior. No respect, no help. This business should be SHUT down and rebuilt with NEW management. I see they made comments about feeling sorry of the experience, but that is for the public. I DO NOT recommend this property at ALL! Our experience was TERRIBLE and I advise you NOT to go. I also spoke with other residents and they feel the same way.
