Poor service yesterday 2.13.24. Purchased some lumber online the day prior for morning pickup. The morning of (630am), I used the App to notify I was on the way. I get to the store (7am), park, and check-in via the app. It says they'll be right out with my order. After waiting 20 minutes, I go inside to find 2 employees standing around behind the customer service/ on-line order pick-up counter engaged in idle gossip. One of them immediately greats me and inquires how can they help. Well, you could have brought out my order that is on a cart behind you vice wasting 20 minutes of my time. I haven't had this problem at the North Charleston location.

I go to this Lowe's very often, never have I had an issue and always find good service when needed... Well, at least in terms of Lowe's responsibility. People are going to be people. And that's what I found tonight... I went in the tool dept at 730 on a Sunday night so I knew the store was closing soon and the employees likely ready to go. Unfortunately I couldn't find what I needed so I went to the guy working in the dept I was in, there was almost no one else in the store. I found him looking up at some shelves, so I stood there and waited for him to acknowledge me............about 2 or 3 very awkward minutes later, I accepted that he wasn't going to look at me or acknowledge me so I left that department and found someone that would and quickly did help me. They also apologized for the incident and the transaction from that point couldn't have went smoother. I do not find fault with the store; let me be clear, no matter how good management is they simply can't control how people are going to act every minute, which is why I don't see Lowe's being to blame.However, if anyone within Lowe's management reads this, I would suggest doing some type performance review of that guy in the tool dept tonight. I've had bad service but never have I had someone just completely ignore me as if I wasn't standing right beside him in arms reach. Who knows his reasons for doing this but it's not professional and as a human being, it's Rather rude.

Our oven shorted and caught fire in the back… yay… my husband immediately went to Lowe’s (our go to for tools, parts, etc.) and the man in the department was absolutely helpful!!! We were able to get a brand new oven that was actually on sale for $300 less than sticker price AND it had all the things we were looking for. Our delivery will be within 72 hours which is great AND we received a text informing us of the window in which it will be delivered. They install the oven for us, no extra cost!!! They do offer haul the old one away for a small $50 fee, but we did decline as we already had arrangements for that. I am thankful that Lowe’s hired people to learn and specialize in the department they are in. I am so thankful that the guy (I can’t remember his name but he reminded me of Eminem) was there to help us with our emergency purchase.

Great customer service! Helped me load 600 lbs. of stone that I purchased without me asking for help. You don't get service like that now days.

The employees are very knowledgeable and if they don't know something they will find out promptly for you. The assistant manager Rich was very helpful and hands on.

When you go to a store like Lowe’s, you would expect the employees in appliances to be professionals. Not at this store. They have little training on appliances and less on appliances services. If you do decide to make a purchase there, make sure you do your own research on the product to include the delivery and installation company. I will guarantee you that Lowe’s employees will get your installation screwed up and you will find yourself with more time away from work and really aggravated.

11/28/23Paint deptmart is great Maegan color match an unmatchable valspar paint for meWay too much involved to get a military discount now, much simpler at Home Depot.Has great deals on scratch and dent appliances. Have seen $900 dryer marked down to $90 because the side was dented in causING the drum to rub. I bought a $1600 side by side refrigerator for $750 because a glass shelf was broken. Knowledge on par with Home Depot. Some good sales on distressed plants. But garden center knowledge not as good as some of the local nurseries.
