This place has been amazing. This is my 3rd time going and everyone has been so polite and respectful. Everyone from the front reception team (Brock and Natalie) to all the massage therapists I’ve seen they all have been very professional and listen to my needs. Will keep coming back for sure.

I have been visiting Massage Envy for years. The Summerville location is by far the best. Experience is so relaxing with soothing sounds playing and table warmer. Such a nice treat for myself and membership prices are so worth it!! Love that they have a variety therapists with different techniques and pressure levels to accommodate everyone. Erin is amazing!

HORRIBLE BUSINESS! Contacted the day within 24 hours of my appt to say theyll have to cancel and I have to pick a new day/time. Instead of having someone available for the time requested. No willingness to comp anything and if Id cancel within 24 hours theyd want 50% money back.

Just came in yesterday and had a great massage with LaTarsha. She is very professional and very kind. I have also seen Johnathan, who gives a plethora of great information during his sessions. The front desk was extremely helpful when it came to booking my future appointments. Usually I schedule through the app, but will schedule with them in person going forward because I can book out further in person versus the app. The manager is fantastic! She is very professional, helpful, and is invested in her guests and employees. Never a dull moment here, always a great experience.

Have been a member for more than 12 years at another location. Now that this location has become corporate owned they treat their clients poorly. They will cancel your appointment with no notice and you receive nothing. If you cancel for an emergency they charge you. They rescheduled an appointment literally an hour before the appointment then charged me for the service that I didn’t get because I could not make the new time they assigned me. Do not sign up for a membership because you will not be able to count on appointments or getting service.Update: no one reached out and since the same happened to my husband. He took his lunch hour for an appointment and they cancelled with no call. He canceled his membership. If I did not like Vanessa’ facials so much I would do the same. I feel bad that employees value is based on upsales and policy driven limitations not quality and customer care.

MEMBERS-I encourage you to take a look at your initial terms when you first joined Massage Envy’s monthly membership, especially if this is your home store. Should you decide you want to cancel, the terms you agreed to when you started will most certainly be different to the terms this location will try to force you to agree when you attempt a cancellation. They will threaten you with these ridiculous terms in an effort to keep you chained to their monthly fee. For some like me, I paid monthly fees religiously for years, never missed a single payment, and never complained when the membership amount agreed to was raised. We were never told that should we cancel, we’d only have 60 days to use your credits. Even through Covid when most stores were closed and credits couldn’t be used while you still made those payments, maybe you left the country to work overseas, too bad says Massage Envy Summerville. That’s our money now.Even worse and this is the big one guys. After making it clear that cancellation is what I wanted due to financial hardship, this location continued to charge my credit card every month. After threatening them that I am notifying my bank of un-authorized use, this location STILL continued to charge my card and to this day, they are fraudulently charging my card!! Even if you’re not a member, would you trust your information with this kind of management? I say no you shouldn’t. Total lack of integrity especially to members that have been loyal for years. It appears that litigation is what will force this store to comply and it will be more than credits I will be asking for Summerville.I also encourage you to look up Massage Envy class action law suits throughout the country because there’s a lot of them and it’s for this kind of behavior. Always a pleasant experience.My masseuse (forgot her name) was very practical and direct in her application. I'm used to massages and I must say that her skill was telling in how she applied pressure and angles...an 8 out of 10 for sure.
