This was my first time coming into a Navy Federal Branch due to me not living close by. The service that I received from the teller was HORRIBLE. She acted as if she was annoyed by me even saying hello. Her attitude was uncalled for and ridiculous. I couldn’t see the full name on her badge but I believe it read “Wesley”. She was brown skinned with blond dreadlocks in her hair. She was seated directly beside Sherry. Sherry ended up helping me instead of the rude young lady and for that I am grateful. Sherry was great but the other girl needs to go back to orientation to learn how to treat customers. There is no way she should be allowed to deal with the public. The young man before me had questions regarding his business and personal account and she had an attitude with him as well and he ended up leaving saying he would figure it out in the app. Then, once he left, her coworker came over and explained that what he wanted could actually be done and the brown skinned girl with the blond dreadlocks shrugged her shoulders indicating that she could care less. As a business owner, I amHIGHLY considering closing my account and telling my coworkers to do the same. I expect more from Navy Federal.

The lines short or long take far too long for simple transactions. Expect at least a 30 minute wait in line, just for simple things (deposits/withdrawals), never mind if you need to see someone in an office. Forget any pleasantries, when you’re greeted by a teller; those days appear to be over with, at least at the Summerville Branch. Also, the policy about holding money you’re trying to deposit; it used to be that you could only get a max back of a percentage up to $250 back, the same day. Now you must wait until the next business day (so if you deposit on a Friday you must wait til Monday to get your $250). They also have a little placard placed on the teller counter informing you that basically if you don’t like their policy, sign up for direct deposit. It used to be the talk amongst all Active Duty or Veterans that NFCU was where you needed to be; now I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Today was my final dismal experience, it’s time change banks.

This location have some friendly personnel. It makes a difference when you are friendly to your customers and do right by them.

Avoid this branch like the plague! Messed up our home loan a few years ago to where they had to pull our credit twice. This time they messed up our personal loan to where they pulled our credit 3x, and it took weeks to fix it. The lady wouldn't even admit to where she made a mistake. I don't mind Navy Federal as a bank but this location is far from any banking standard we are used to.

Seriously the drive thru atm out of service! I was here months ago and it was out. The walk up has a line! It is easier going to another bank!

Worst customer service ever. Teller "Faith" had a horrible attitude, gave me bad information regarding when my deposit would be available, offered to close my accounts or let me take my deposit to another bank all together! (Had the other bank been open on Saturday, I would have RUN to them.) The policies regarding deposits, changed in Oct of 2022 and they are ridiculous. No wonder you can't talk to the Branch Manager.

You would think they would honor their members but they don't care. They will take your money out your account even knowing that you're struggling and not care at all. I don't trust navy federal credit union at all and have nothing but problems with them.

The ATMs are annoying for depositing cash. Have to put the same bills in multiple times.

Great people working there and they work hard to fit your needs. Thanks!

Just awful, tried for a mortgage, totally mishandled, could not speak to person, just emails. It was a simple problem, I am the spouse of a veteran, not the veteran. I lost multiple chances to buy a house because of this. Now, anytime there is a problem that requires talking to a human, I am put on hold and told I have a waiting period of 30-40 minutes, no call me back options, just spend your life on hold, customer service is good if you can wait that long.

In June went in to get a name change, and to make a withdrawal. I advised teller I needed to update my last name because I just got married, gave her the marriage certificate and ID . She asked for my SS card. I explained i have not received it yet. She advised they could not change my last name without it. Went back to the bank, with ID and SS card, Greeter asked where is your marriage licence I told her your work associate advised it could NOT be used and I HAD to have SS Card. She Apologized and advised they could not assist for the second time. ALL THE EMPLOYEES NEED TO BE ON THE SAME PAGE! BETWEEN HAVING TIME AND THE PRICE OF GAS NO ONE HAS TIME TO BE GIVEN WRONG INFORMATION. I should have asked for management this makes absolutely no sense. Going forward I will make sure I get associate's name and ask for information in writing, I am now wondering what other WRONG information I have been given. because I'm seriously thinking about closing all my accts.

You need more staff! To only have one teller there on a Friday afternoon is absolutely insane. I waited 45 minutes Then the one that you had is rude. Y'all need to open up the Walmart on Dorchester one again.

1 hour to get a debit card when other people are walking in and out in 3 to 4 minutes. I'm not sure why it takes so long considering the time to print is 4 minutes.

What kind of bank doesn't allow foreign currency exchange? Especially if you're a military bank. It's a joke I'm taking my business elsewhere
