The service technician proved to be extremely helpful. He was understanding and explained what was going on. This was my first experience with Summerville Ford's Service with my new truck. I was extremely satisfied .My most recent experience with the Service Department at Summerville Ford proved to be as helpful as my first experience. The service technician was extremely helpful and understanding. She went beyond her responsibilities to constantly stay in touch with me to keep me apprised of the current situation.

Recently purchased a used 2013 ford f150. Although the service was great at the time(duh I was giving them my money) I started experiencing issues with the vehicle about a month in. There is a recall (TSB 13-6-8) in 2013 and a recall for power train back in 2019 for the F-150's. I'll be cruising along going 40-50 mph when it suddenly downshifts without warning and locks the back tires up, RPMs spike to 5 or 6, and speedometer goes blank/0. The truck will start violently lurching and skidding. I have to coast to the side of the road or highway, turn it off, then turn it back on, and pray it runs fine again. But of course no wrench or engine light will appear despite this. This has happened over 10-15 times in 2 months. The worst part is you never know when it'll happen either. The truck had the recall done by previous owner, but obviously did not get it properly fixed. As everything described in the recall is still happening. This is where I have a problem. Ford Summerville has given me the run around, they keep sending me to different people, with no urgency to the matter. Despite this affecting my safety when I drive. I have taken it to a different Ford garage but again, no answer from them. I made a case with Ford, but didnt like their answer as it was just another loop around. I'm just going to trade it in next week, this has been a huge disappointment. Their product is affecting my safety yet they do nothing... To end this rant, if you look on online forums about this issue on the recall, other people are experiencing this problem, and aren't getting answers from Ford. It seems Ford is trying to sweep this recall issue under the rug, not wanting to deal with the fact they ACTUALLY didn't fix the recall. For-warning when buying a Ford product. Not only disappointed in Summerville Ford but the company in itself. I won't stay silent about this either.

This service department bills your warranty yet doesn’t do the work. I have a fuel filter and air filter on my truck that has never been changed or recommended to be changed. They didn’t even change my oil this last time . I am lucky my son looked my truck over because it want running right due to no air or fuel flow..

Everyone from parts to service to sales was amazing. I came to pick up a part and service got me in same day to install it! I was amazed to get such top-tier treatment. I was introduced to a sales person since I was also interested in a new vehicle and was given 100% attention with no high pitch sales talk. The sales person Joe listened carefully, asked questions and was a perfect gentleman. Hands down Summerville is the best Ford dealership in the low country!

Debbie at Summerville Ford was very nice, caring, and attentive. She kept us up to date on the status of our car repair. Also, Jacques the driver was very nice. He gave us a ride back and forth to the dealership, and was friendly and easy to talk to about everything. Waiting for a car you need to get repaired is an upsetting, nerve-wracking experience, and Debbie & Jacques made the experience much easier.

So unfortunate that this has to be rated a one star, but it needs to be told. 1. Beware of the extra service charges that are added onto your already high overrated repair cost. From you need a battery to windshield wipers.2. Whether you have an appointment or not, twice it took 9 days to complete. Trying to call and get a response was limited to a few text messages and no return phone calls. I was told they had the parts to fix it, therefore why did it take so long?3. Two tune-ups in one year, $1,200 dollars later now, I have a bad coil and valve sensor they wanted over $900 dollars to fix that.Within the last year, service has been deteriorating.

Summerville Ford was great to work with. I was able to come in last second to look at a Maverick. Amber and Tony were able to work with me to get me a much nicer truck than I had initially anticipated at a price I could stomach. They were even kind enough to stay late while I sat on the phone with the bank for an hour trying to sort out some confusion. All in all a great experience. I think I got a fair deal for an in demand vehicle and never felt pressured to commit to something I wasn't co mfortable with.

My car was in a really bad accident and was deemed a total loss. I previously bought 3 other cars from ford, so I called them right up. Grant (sales) and Theresa (manager) without hesitation we're more than helpful and very very understanding to my situation. When I got there Grant was a little busy so he had Amber help me who was wonderful as well we sat and talked about a lot of different options and ways to make things affordable. Needless to say they had me in a car the day after the accident which was amazing and I can't thank them enough they are a pretty amazing team of people and that's why I choose to always go back to Ford! Thank you sooo much Theresa, Amber, and Grant!

Summerville ford has yet to let us down. We have gotten 4 cars there and they are always so prompt. Wes and Andrew are the most knowledgeable and are not pushy sales men, Elvis was amazing and looked at every deal to get us into your dream cars. They are a pet friendly place and let us bring our wild two year old pup in with us. 10/10 recommend Thank you Summerville ford for always taking care of us!

Franco Perez from the service department at Summerville ford was awesome and is the only reason I'd come back for service at this dealership. He was patient and helpful and showed great consideration. The previous person failed to handle things correctly and Franco reassured me he'd get it handled, and he DID. He went out of his way to show great customer service and should be recognized for such.

Andrew was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We already knew what we wanted and Andrew was there e every step of the way to make sure our dream car was perfect. He even went above and beyond and filled up our gas tank before we picked it up. Thanks again for an awesome experience!

Great buying experience but getting service done very painful. Call to make an pay you deal with a call center that may or may not answer the phone. Leave a message no return call. Once you get an appointment getting your car looked at for the issue will take a long time to get to a mechanic. I understand you may have a backlog for certain issues but that’s not my problem. You gave me the appointment. Be truthful and just tell me how long it will be up front instead of dropping off and not having a car. Follow up with service advisor was a fail. Call leave message and still no response. I finally got a response because I had to have my other vehicle looked at and was in the dealer and had to see the advisor face to face. Glad you remodeled but you should of put more into actually getting services completed smoothly.

Made an appointment, presented an hour early, two men at computers were idle, I gave my name an indicated a 2:00 appointment. The younger guy said the appointment was not with him! Hunh?? It was with a female and he did a thumb over the shoulder to move on back! The female asked a bunch of ridiculous questions. All I needed to hear was, we will check your car out and let you know!! But she said "I repeat," as if I was a dummy. She pushed my hot button, and went to get the lane manager, who responded as if my not responding to inane questions was a requirement; and I needed to acquiesce and answer up!! I left! Enough of that treatment! Did speak to Dealer Manager, and Service Manager, but left with an explanation that they had more work than they had technicians (mechanics in my era)! Forget customer service! It is non-existent! Did make complaint with Ford Motor Company!! We'll see !

10 out of 10 would recommend. Andrew and Teresa went above and beyond to make a deal work for me when other dealerships wasted hours of my time. Andrew was my sales guy and Teresa was the sales manager and they both were phenomenal.
