Staff was awesome to work with. My care team for Minnie was very compassionate. Your ER care work similar to that of a traditional person ER, which is good. However, I hope that one day you can become fully staffed so that an ER visit doesn't take 6 or more hours to complete. Other than that, you guys provide excellent care with the staff that you do have. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for all that you do. The kindness that was shown to Minnie

If I could give them zero stars I would. We had a momma barn cat go into early labor. She had 2 premmies and was still bleeding, rejected the babies and was lethargic. I took them to Blue Pearl. They said mom needed overnight care and an emergency c section to get another kitten out to the tune of 7k. We declined and took her to her usual vet first thing the next morning for the crew's section.... except there was no kitten and no need for a c section. Not sure if they guessed or they don't know how to read an ultrasound, but that's a pretty expensive mistake.EDIT: Their response made it seem like my primary concern was the price. I would argue my primary reason for this review is that the vet we ended up going to found NO KITTEN IN THE MOTHER. BLUE PEARL MISDIAGNOSED AND WOULD HAVE CHARGED FOR A C-SECTION THAT WAS NOT NECESSARY HAD WE DECIDED NOT TO LEAVE.IF YOU ARE GOING TO OFFER EMERGENT CARE, AT LEAST MAKE SURE YOUR GOING TO PERFORM AND CHARGE FOR THE CARE THAT IS ACTUALLY NEEDED

The staff was very nice but I did have an extremely long wait. I would definitely go back as everyone was so kind to my loud dog lol

My husband took my dog there for a sudden onset of seizures at or around 130am. I gave 2 stars because they did get the soured stopped all in a matter of a few minutes, However my fur baby is considered like my child as we have no children together. Out of respect for the girl that was the vet tech I will not post her name but I can tell you that I was definitely upset with all of this going on and then having her tell his it would be 2500 for one night and it now being 0300 it put me in a place that I could not pay that amount that night. The vet tech proceeded to slam the door when I verbalized how I felt. She had zero compassion and they had my husband sign an AMA form even though that’s not what happened. We did not decline care, they just didn’t accept what we could pay. We still ended up paying 900 that night. I don’t regret paying that amount as she is my baby but the staff could’ve definitely been more compassionate. As a nurse I would never slam the door in anyone’s face and never will. And I’ve been in some pretty outrageous situations.

Facility is clean and staff is great but for the love of God hire more help! 4 hours for emergency help is ridiculous. I unfortunately had to put a dog to sleep here a year ago and it was the same issue. Nobody working. You charge 4x the amt a regular vet office, I think you can pay some folks to work. People are so scared and stressed as it is then they sit and wait for hourssss.

I wish I could leave NO stars because this place is hell on earth. If you want to waste your money and time go here. The people are rude and their prices are too high. They told us our dog needed surgery and $10,000 later I went to another vet and they said our dog didn’t need the surgery. SCAMMERS

My dog was throwing up and wasn't eating or drinking anything and I took him to the Summerville location and what they wanted to charge me was ridiculous. The emergency room visit alone was 500$ then to have blood work and a x-ray was going to be around 2000$. Minus the X-ray and with getting 3 prescriptions It cost 800$. I returned a week later with no change in his progress just to have them tell me it was going to cost more money to basically do what they did the first time.

They’re always prompt and I will bring my animals here first in an emergency. I appreciate that they keep the lines of communication between my current vet and emergency vet or specialist open.

Extremely quick evaluation of my very sick dog. We had to put her down, and the staff was very nice to let me use the quiet room to say goodbye. They made a paw print for me, and sent a card afterwards. They made an awful situation as peaceful as they could.

Your surgeons have completed multiple surgeries on several of my English Bulldogs. I'm beyond impressed with their knowledge. They are very understanding and compassionate when it comes to make these hard decisions. I can't say enough about how amazing your team in Summerville specifically all of the doctors!!!!

I don’t know where to start. First I would have to say the customer service , professionalism and sincerity throughout our entire experience is so heartfelt and exceptional. Linda and I had to put down our 13 year year-old Rottweiler at 2 AM on a Friday morning. What we witnessed and went through in our home was something so heartbreaking. We had to make that very difficult decision immediately to have our baby girl put down and not to be suffering any longer. We called Blue Pearl Pet Emergency in Summerville SC to help us. We arrived there at about 1:30am and escorted to a very calm relaxing room. The staff was so very accommodating throughout the entire process. We got to stay with her to her very last breath. They continued to help us with the cremation and paw print. This continued up until we picked up our baby girls ashes in an absolute beautiful little package. They even went a step further and took noes prints as a special touch. Putting a loved one down is never easy and the staff at Blue Pearl truly understands that. You have a great staff and service and we wouldn’t have wanted it to be any other way. Thank you all for getting us through that difficult time with so much caring and compassion. We couldn't be happier with the care and treatment given to River. And we were informed every step of the way. Dr. Djani was amazing! Dr Dajani spoke to us with care and explained everything so that we really understand what was going on . Definitely will recommend Blue Pearl.
