I have been a BB&T/Truist customer for 8 years, and I am looking for a new local bank. Walked in at 9:30 am to get a document notarized. Counter staff are not notaries (!). The 2 officers were with customers who "had appointments. " It took 40--no kidding--minutes for one of 2 officers to break away long enough to notarized my one document. Another bank can do better. Bye.

Tonya was great to deal with but Cindy had somewhat of an attitude once we asked for a wire transfer.

TRUIST is not a good bank. My wife tried to cash a check from one of their customers and was told by teller that there was an $8.00 fee because we don't have an account there. DOESN'T make any difference that the check you are cashing is one of their accounts.I am fairly sure that this is ILLEGAL and the teller was trying to get us to open an account.DON'T RECCOMMEDED TRUIST, they are not nice people.We will be fileing a report with the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU and the FDIC.

Horrible and very rude employees. The manager Casey has always been very nice but lately will.not return my calls for almost 4weeks now. They lied to me would not cash my check so Casey had to handle that and she did and cashed my check. Ot has been problems after problems with this branch employees very disrespectful. And as far as bb&t itself there are no words.. they have messed my account up today will.make the 3rd time. I called and asked the boy who answer today may 19th 2020 9am in the morning for corparte number he told me there is not one and he lied. I call another number and they gave me the CEO line number and I told them surfside beach sc refused to give me corparte number they said really you should report that so I am and this is the same rude guy that I have spoke to before on the phone as well and the 2 lady's at the front very rude. I took pics so I can show corporate exactly who.im talking about I have took pictures of my account everyday every transaction.

Usually good customer service. Traffic can make it a challenge to get in and out. Nice facility once you are there though.
