They did somewhat try to help. But I dislike it when a representative for that company says 'they won't let us do that". They are the they. They work for Truist. Say, 'we' can't do that. Just me though. I'm sure it doesn't bother many other people.

What a horrible customer experience. My wife, for some reason, still has an account with Truist and we walked in there last week to get a document notarized. The teller gave us the most condescending smirk, then proceeded to say that she might be able to notarize my wife's signature, but that I would have to go elsewhere.
That's when we headed to SouthState Bank, where we have all our accounts and are treated exceptionally.
I would rather drive any distance to get treated superbly by my bank, than make the 1-minute drive up the road and be treated like garbage by Truist bank.

I have been doing business with Truist, and the 4 other banks it was named before that, for 2 decades. I have 2 business accounts and 2 personal accounts with them. I have tried to be loyal but they have absolutely ruined my banking experience with them. Even my favorite teller says she gets complaints every day about the incompetence that the company breeds. Rest of my family owns businesses and they use credit unions and never have issues. I recommend going anywhere but Truist.

I just want to Thank Peter from the Taylor’s branch and Sunny from the Inman branch who has been assisting me with my account since the merge of the two banks. When I say I truly feel like these two individuals care I really do bc I had requested for a supervisor to call me twice I had been to the bank 10 times within 8 days. These two amazing people I encountered need a raise they are the only reason I am still a customer on today 3/17/22. I was depleted sitting in the office I was confused and overwhelmed an I have anxiety. They took their time they cared enough to call me to look into what was going on and to see from a customer side they kept in touched with the issues they gave resolution to avoid future issues for this I give 4 stars individually I would give Peter an sunny 10 stars. I didn’t get my funds back or at least yet but I feel better an more secure money gone come an go but these two has helped me change my mind and try to rebuild my faith in this institution now that matters and that means more at least to me! Thank you once again to Peter and Sunny if your not told your appreciated and worth it and recognized you are by me! Have a good day!

My husband and I had only arrived in the Greenville area from the Land of Lincoln a few days ago and were in a tight spot. We needed to access funds in an out of state checking account with our debit card and were having difficulties. We stopped in at the Truist branch in Taylors and got the help we needed quickly and competently. Within a few minutes we were walking out with the cash we needed. ?. So pleased with the service we got on a very stressful day for my newly disabled husband.

Super incompetent. Twice now I have had them get my money wrong. One time they counted it wrong and the second time they gave me the wrong amount of cash back.

Very ignorant people working here. Couldnt help me with a simple request. Regretting doing business with this bank at all
