“Alexander and his team provided exceptional service moving our refrigerator to the garage so that hardwood floors could be refinished. They returned a week later to move the refrigerator and furniture back into our great room! They were professional and courteous. I would call them again for local or longer distance moves.”

“We had a move of two houses combining into one, so a lot of moving parts, and we were very pleased with their work! The movers were very kind and took great care with our belongings. No damage to anything. Took apart and put back together our bed. Had to move a lot of very heavy items up stairs and no nicks in the stairwell. I recommend HD for your move!”

“I’ve moved a lot, but my experience with Palmetto Specialty Transfer was by far THE BEST. They were head & shoulders above the rest. Their team was kind, professional, knowledgeable about the packing process & accommodating of every strange request I had. I would give them 10 stars if I could! Thank you for taking care of me & making my move as painless as possible (especially as a single mom!).”

“They not only did an excellent job of moving my furniture in and out, but they went above and beyond by cleaning up the floors, shower, and walls before they moved everything back in and putting felt pads on the furniture to protect the new floors. “Becca (the owner) was such a pleasure to work with on setting up our move, and Luke and Seamus were exceptional movers. They did the move out, drove the truck, and our move in. Nothing was damaged or scratched, they disassembled and reassembled furniture, and they even helped me decide where furniture would look best. They went over and above. I highly recommend them.”

“William Wilkinson and his team of movers did an outstanding job of moving our family. William was courteous, kind, very professional with our belongings, and never once made us feel like an item was tough to maneuver. He also spoke encouraging words to me by complimenting the way I prepared the house for the move. I highly recommend Affordable Movers for your next move. A+”

“Devin and Tyler were so great and did a fantastic job carefully wrapping and transporting our belongings to our new place. We sprung for the additional insurance after reading some reviews, but nothing of ours was damaged. Woohoo! The move took much longer than we planned for when we booked our move and therefore cost us waaay over budget...we booked 2 hours for our 2br apt and it took just about 6 hours (and that's with me, my husband and our neighbor hauling stuff out to the truck, too!). The guys powered through and didn't even stop for lunch (I wished I'd had something to offer them!) - and I knew they had another job to go to after finishing ours. But they were troopers and were professional and kind the whole time. We had everything packed in boxes labeled by room, which we thought would expedite things for the pros, but we underestimated the time it took to wrap and place the furniture in the truck. And because we were so time conscious, we couldn't help but think that it wasn't right that the clock was running during the signing of the paperwork with the office over the phone both at the beginning of the job and when we arrived at the new place, because the guys couldn't physically do their moving job which was what we were paying for. I think it would be a great addition to the business model to do a video walk through upon booking so AMS can provide better guidance on the number of movers and amount of time a job would take so that there are no unsavory surprises at the end. All in all, the job with our movers was satisfactory. But, we will give careful consideration as to whether we will use this service again for our next move due to concerns around time and cost, which I think we could have been coached on better beforehand.”
