Food Lion is a grocery store that provides a great shopping experience with a friendly and warm atmosphere. The store is very clean and has a good variety of products, with a greater selection on some items than competitors. The produce looks a million times better, showing the store cares about its fresh food. Many employees are nice, helpful, and extremely helpful, often going out of their way to serve, contributing to a well-run store. While most managers are nice and helpful, one manager is noted as rude and unfriendly. The store offers great prices on items like milk and produce, with average prices for produce and meats. Shoppers can find amazing deals, especially by watching for alternating sales and Manager's Specials, though a word of caution is given that these items may be near their expiration date. The very best way to maximize money is to watch for sales and stack them with other money-saving apps. Overall, it is a fantastic store with a wide selection of affordable, fresh items.
