This is a great place to bring your vehicle. They are up front and even tell you if the issue is covered by your warranty. I couldn’t be happier with their service and quality work.

Great service and quality, honest and professional. These guys have fixed the flywheel on my work van when most wouldn’t touch it in record time. Then my wife needed her truck serviced and repaired, called good guys and they got right on it and got it done. Now they’re in the process of servicing my Ram diesel and I have no doubts in their results. Love to experience professional guys serving the community. I would definitely recommend these guys for all your vehicle repairs in Columbia.

True to the name, John & Scott are GOOD guys. They have provided quality repairs in a very timely manner for my automobiles many times. I'm a satisfied customer for more than a decade & happily refer this maintence & repair shop to friends & family. Accurate & affordable; a gem of a local business!

I would rather walk than trust them to fix my truck again. When I loaded truck on rollback to transport to Good Guys Automotive, the engine was NOT locked up and I was told "we have run two different tests on it and you just need an oil pump and not an engine". After three weeks, 2 misdiagnoses, and at least 6 different excuses as to why it's not done on time, the engine is now locked up completely and it is being towed to a shop that's honest and reputable. For what it's worth, Tow truck driver said he had heard nothing but complaints about this shop as well.Service: Engine repair

Wait 7 until you see the waiting area in the office! And the dog is huge and cool as anything. But, most importantly these are good down-home honest hard-working people it will tell you what you need to hear and sometimes what you don't want to hear hahaha. So make sure you get over here and ask whatever you need to and they'll be more than happy to help you out amen

I took my vehicle here a few years ago. They replaced the fuel pump and charged me $998.To this day, my van still doesn't read fuel levels correctly. About 2 weeks after the "repairs ", my van wouldn't start. I called them and asked them if they could tow it in for another look. They rudely told me they would, but I would have to pay.Actually, every time I called, they were rude. When I forked over nearly $1000, they were rude. When I called for updates, they were rude.I wish I had the funds over the years to have someone else address it. Unfortunately, I've just tolerated the fact that I'm never going to know how much fuel I have.I don't know how they have such high ratings.

This is a fantastic shop. They really did a great job and, we will definitely be back for any repair we may need in the future. Thanks to everyone at Good Guy’s!

Replaced my transmission, super friendly, glad they were able to get my car up and running again. A little bit of a delay and pricing went up fairly quickly due to our current economic state, but they did their best to keep me up to speed with what was going on.

I am so disappointed in the way this has been handled. My fiance works at Prisma Health in Columbia. Our truck needed a water pump..a neighbor was doing the work when a bolt broke off.He suggested we call good guys because they would tow the truck to shop and fix it and would tow it back because we only have 1vehicle.We were told the truck would be ready on Thursday..hear nothing on Thursday until we call them . Said it would be fixed first on Friday...no call back..we call them on Friday late. Then told they would have to order a bolt and gasket. WILL be ready on Tuesday first thing..cost 350. WE hustle to get the money together. No call from them..we call back at 4.Then told cost is 475...we off course don't have the extra money..we beg for help..my fiance's father lives out of state and said he would use his charge card..call place back..then told we have to come in person with card???? Are you kidding me????? THEN TOLD TO FAX THEM PICTURE OF CARD FRONT AND BACK..SEND LICENSE..FRONT AND BACK,??? OH YEAH AND SEND A Email granting use of card..how unprofessional can you get...it also has cost my fiance 80 dollars a day to get to and from work for 4days..too late today to do anything so another 80 tomorrow...we off course will have to pay the amount to get our truck..hopefully tomorrow...a little respect would surely have gone along way with us.

I have a 2012 Ford Fusion, I was having trouble with my ac working only sometimes (mostly when it's cool)after I had a recall on my air bags through Ford, I asked Ford how much they would charge me to fix it and they quoted me $400. I was trying to find a cheaper alternative, I should have taken it back to Ford. I called "Good guys" and asked how much they would charge me to suck out the freon, reprogram the hvac module and then put the freon back in, which is what Ford told me it needed. I spoke with a very nice gentlemen on the phone who I can only assume by the other reviews was Scott because it definitely wasn't John and he assured me that they could do the job for $140. I took my car in on a Tuesday and went into the waiting room to wait for the work to be done. My friend was with me and after about 30 minutes of waiting had to use the restroom, but the door had an out of order sign on it. I tried the door and it wasn't locked, in fact there was absolutely nothing wrong with the restroom, so I'm assuming they just wanted to keep ppl sitting in their waiting room for hours without even giving them a place to use the restroom if they need to. After waiting 2 hours for my car to be done John said it was ready. I went out to my car which was cranked with the ac running and put my hand in front of the vent to see if it was blowing cold air, and it was at first and then changed right back to hot air. I went back in and told John that the problem was not fixed at all. So back to the waiting room again. Ten minutes later he said I was all set, at this point I'm extremely skeptical about this because I'm now feeling like they don't know what they are doing. When I went out the ac was blowing cold air again and so we left. On Thursday 2 days later, I'm otw to take my friend to work and guess what, the ac started blowing hot air again. At this point I feel like they definitely don't know what they are doing and just want my money back so I can take it to the dealership and pay the $400. I called and spoke with John who told me he was absolutely not giving me my money back but I could bring my car back again and they would see if they could fix it again. What!?!? I don't think so! I am scared for them to even touch my car at this point because now I am convinced they don't know what they are doing. DON'T go there!! If they supposedly fix your car and you have the same problem again they WILL NOT give you your money back!! Good guys?? NOT!!
