BEWARE OF HOME DECOR OUTLETS -This has been happening in their stores across the country, but my experience was at the location in West Columbia. The entire company has filed bankruptcy and failed to notify customers. They are actively collecting money and when customers come to pick up their furniture, the manager informs you that the items are out of stock and you cannot get a refund. It is a scam

I purchased a dresser from Home Decor Outlet that was ashley brand and i paid off about 4 months ago. Instead of them telling me they are unable to get the furniture, they just let my money sit. Kept calling no answer. Staff sitting outside when arrived at the store. Found out I can’t get a refund but a store credit. I spent over $900.

Well I must say the older guy tht sold me my mattress n box spring is very nice n will do what he can to make things right but tht store manager who didn’t want to give me his name is nasty n must really don’t like his job n by all means I will never deal with this place again if I have to have any dealings with tht young man

This store has no customer service skills. Promises and lies told. Prices change, money thrown away and the quality is terrible. They don't put the furniture together well enough to get the use out of it. I won't shop again unless I put it together.

Update people...It's now over a year and still no refund for furniture yet to be delivered. Why??? Because Home Decor filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. I knew this was bound to happen. I am fighting to get my $844.00 back from this scam dealing furniture operation. Sam Davis you will be named in this case along with others. Pitiful management on your behalf. SMH

I will never shop this store again. I paid in full over $1400. for furniture in Feb. of 2021 and only received less than half. I'm still waiting on they bedroom suite and end tables. I was approved a refund in June. No refund ...no furniture and Sammy the despicable sorry mgr. said all he's to do is unlock the doors..sell ..and lock the doors. He has NO compassion not does he care about the customer. I can't afford to throw away over $800. The corp.office in Duluth GA doesn't return calls and Sammy is NO HELP. PEOPLE LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR FURNITURE!!!

Hey Sarai, I've been waiting on an approved refund since June 2021. I paid in full $1400+ for furniture in Feb. 2021 and still waiting on my bedroom set & end tables. Guess what? I don't have either (furniture or refund) Sammy said all he does is unlock the store doors sell (take peoples $$$$) and lock the doors back. He is despicable when it comes to customer service. At least Curtis tried to help. I will never recommend this store to anyone and if anyone ask...I'm telling them to go elsewhere because the manager SUCKS. Before I'm done (no refund yet) the staff will not forget me or the fact that they have no conscience for their actions. Just taking people's money and not delivering product or refunds. Gotta rate so one star is more than they deserve.

I have been waiting since April for my bedroom set to arrive. Customer service communication does not exist. Requesting a refund of my money paid in full and not furniture was a big mistake. I want my money back as of today I still do not have a status. Do not buy from this place. Horrible and frustrating.I only choose 1 star because it will not let you post without selecting one and that’s being generous. No refund and no furniture. I have filed a claim in small court against this company. my paperwork says the manager name is John Wayne. file a complaint with better business as well. keep fong until this place is shut down.

Today's date is November 27, been waiting on furniture since the 24th of June. Nobody can tell me nothing. Can't get in touch with home office. They won't return calls nor text messages. They won't offer a refund. So I changed my order to something they had in stock. Was given a discount on it and got it the next day, had to put it together myself. Went back the following week to pickup the console I put on layaway. They assured me they had plenty and if I decided I wanted it, it would be here. They didn't have it and last one was on the floor model which was gone. That's when I noticed several other pieces was missing from the floor model. I was delivered pieces from the floor model. They assured me they had it in stock. And I would be getting it like it came from the factory. I had it with this place and I will be spending my money elsewhere in the future. Customer service here sucks. If Heather is at the front desk RUN!!! If I didn't know better she acts like she's high or something.

Ordered furniture in May after a few months of not having it I requested a refund. Had to fill out a form for corporate to send money back. It is now 2-3 more months later no refund. You can’t even get anyone at corporate to answer or return calls! Never will I go to this place again! I’m out furniture and my money. It should not be this difficult

Been waiting for furniture since June 24th. Was told at first it would be 6-8 weeks, after that was told it would be 12 weeks. Now it's the end of November still no furniture. That don't know nothing and can't tell you nothing. Was given home office number. All you get is voice mail. Left voice and text messages with no response. They won't give you a refund or offer discount on furniture that they do have. Very poor customer service. Moving forward going to take my business elsewhere.

I've shopped at Home Decor Outlets for years. Recently I've been shopping for mattresses. Due to the shipping issues there have been shortages. But there is a sales person namedCurtis at the Augusta Road store who has been great! The first time we stopped by my husband and I said his customer service will make you want to buy from him! His attitude is great! We will definitely buy from him!
