“I stopped in on New Year's Eve just before closing as it was convenient to other stores I needed to go and in a familiar area. The place was packed. There were 2 men working, one on register, one assisting customers; both of which greeted me upon entering and were helpful and in pleasant mood. One of the men helped me find my items and offered further recommendations of what to pair the items with. Despite having a huge checkout line, I was in and out within 10 minutes (I will add that I knew what I wanted to pick up prior to going in). Although I am just a holiday/special occasion drinker I will definitely continue to shop here and highly recommend this store for your alcoholic beverage needs.”

“The 'Booze Barn' is the second-to-last store on the far right of Food Lion in Westland Square. The name, I learned, is carried over from previous owners - though you wouldn't even know it /has/ a name unless you're looking for it; you're in South Carolina, so you'll recognize it for its three red dots. The proprietor, Mr. Patel, is outstanding. He always seems genuinely happy to see us, and makes every effort to get to know and assist his customers. My son went round recently, and Mr. Patel not only placed him as my son, but sent him home with a gift for me!”
