It is a wonderful place to take in breathtaking views of the river and nature as you walk along the Riverwalk trail. There are plenty of benches along the way where you can enjoy the views and rest. There's usually a nice breeze and plenty of shaded areas, too. It is also a dog friendly place to walk your well-behaved dog on a leash and get some exercise.

Beautiful place but it's infested with mentally ill homeless people. My car was vandalized in the parking area. Which is why I only gave two stars. The city of Colombia needs to do something about the homeless overtaking the city especially the parks... If it's of value don't leave it in your car because the homeless in the park area are petty thieves and they will vandalize you car if they think something of value is in it. I enjoyed my walk and despite the negative parts I was so at peace that I couldn't stay mad about my car because every dog has their day and I will not let any dog steal my joy.

Such a beautiful path by the water. Lots of green grass and tall shade trees. We brought brunch for a picnic. Listen to the birds chirping and the water running.Great path to run, walk, or bike. Bring a rod if you like to fish. Dogs are welcome. Trail has doggie bags along the path.Bathrooms are there to use.

This walking trail follows the Saluda river. The view is great and tube rentals are available. Friendly people on the trail. Spuki was a fan of the multiple possible directions we could take

It’s a beautiful trail with tons of amazing sights. Bring your bike and have a good time! Also bring some water though, dehydration can happen fast because I haven’t found any working water fountains.

A great place to come and walk or have a picnic. Lovely river view that had lots of water birds.Does it busy the weekends. The smallest parking lot ive ever seen and a hassle lol. But there is additional parking across the street. Public bathrooms near the amphitheater.

One of our favorite riverwalks anywhere. Columbia has 3 rivers coming together downtown. You can walk along these 3 rivers using different access points. All 3 have different characteristics & beautifully in their own ways.

Wonderful Walking ExperienceThis riverwalk goes on for miles and miles along the Saluda River, the Broad River and Canal, and the Congaree River. We did 2 separate portions of the Congaree and both were wonderful. The walkway is well maintained and the scenery is beautiful. Both portions provided continual views of the river, with some side trails right down to the water. On the land side. there was either native forest/vegetation or (closer to the city) beautiful homes. The elevation changes are mild. Rest areas (bathrooms) are available along the way.We would highly recommend this for anyone who wants to get a little recreational walking or running or biking.

Really enjoyed the visit here. Will definitely be back soon. The sound of the river is tranquil. I'm sure the smell is from the nearby factories. That is the only reason I didn't give ,5 stars

I love the Riverwalk! It's got an awesome amphitheater and the trails go on for miles! It's great to bike or walk! There's some picnic tables right by the amphitheater that are a delight to eat at and look at the river. Pro tip: get Café Strudel to-go! It's such a beautiful place and serene. Every now and again you get a whiff of something nasty, but that must just be the nearby factory or something. It's a great place for a family outing and get some fresh air for the kids!Playground: Great playground area nearbyRestrooms: Clean and on-site when you walk up!Dog-friendliness: Very dog friendly, just pick up after your pet!Picnic area: There are picnic tables around that you can eat at.

Lovely well kept park with an amphitheater for live shows and waterside walkways. It has paved paths and a series of workout machines spread out along the trail for the fitness oriented! The tubes launched at the Saluda river walk for floating also come in here to end their trip so in the summer it can be a bustling and energetic right at the front. Restaurants of all styles and a brewery within walking distance (across the street!) make this a great spot to be for all kinds!!

This was honestly beautiful! They have lots of fun stuff all along the way too and it's very calming to be so close to the river. Seems like they keep the landscaping in good condition as well.
