This business presents bad character. it poses a a vintage jewelry shop yet when you bring items similar to what he has In his shop he down grades the material inadvertently down playing a person’s character. He also doesn’t offer deals in to better a person’s character or make a person feel comfortable in a sense for example you could bring him 150 24 carrot rings and he will give you 1500 because he strictly goes off of weight so if you bring him quality he will down play the quality to put money in his pockets people who do this to a poverty community doesn’t deserve a shop and have shops because their interested in money trends. This is not a man you go to shop for something sentimental or tasteful. Everything he’s has is either traditional or vintage so really it’s an antique store. When I was there talking with him he didn’t even cared about making a honest trade for other jewelry at his shop.

Ronnie's Jewelers is a great place for all kinds of jewelry. ..you can even get costume jewelry here at a decent price. I loved my experience and I am planning on returning for another new piece of jewelry very soon!

Don't bring any jewelry including watches here for repair. They break more than they fix

Do not bring your watch here for repairs or even battery replacement. They appear to be Incompetent, plain and simple! Although folks here are pleasant, and prices may be OK, they could not manage the very simple process of changing the battery on my watch. OK, the screws were tiny but this does not excuse that the technician could not properly reattach the back after inserting the new battery. Two of the four screws were not inserted correctly, leaving them sticking out and scratching the skin on my arm. I have not checked carefully, but there is a good chance the threads were stripped. Also, the battery appears to be loose as the watch has stopped a couple times since. Either that or the replacement battery was nearing its end of life, or perhaps it wasn't even the correct battery! No matter what, I will have to send the watch to a qualified repair facility to fix the mess.

While Ronnie is a pleasant person and seems to be fairly knowledgeable from being in the business for many years, Overall I've had bad experiences. Through the course of him having two different actual jewelers that he uses for repairs... the first broke two stones in my rings which was taken in in for re-size. His newest jeweler who works from home (is very rarely in the store, except for pick-up and delivery of items) also cracked a stone. Any repair work now is done through Ronnie then to his off-site jeweler and the customer is the middle man. Seems my requests either aren't being relayed correctly or else the jeweler simply does the repair to what HE wants, thus he has to re-do it which takes even more time, and then.... the pricing is ridiculously HIGH. Whenever I go in there is ALWAYS the presence of unsavory looking individuals who bring in items for Ronnie to look at/buy which takes up too much of his time (Ronnie is a “talker”). Ronnie also sold me a used Seiko watch (in the box) which Ronnie said was new, but in fact was used and in need of repair. After having it for almost a week and it running fast, I took it back and told Ronnie who told me “he’d make it right”, sent it off to his "watch repairman) telling me it would be a week for turn around. The day before it was expected back, his secretary called me and her message was it was back in (un-repairable) and ready for pick up. When I got there Ronnie told me that she made a mistake and it had been fixed and for me to take it and try it for about a week. I told him that I preferred a refund or else I'd take him to the Magistrate's office. Refund was given and I've decided from now on, I'll take my business elsewhere. While he is pleasant, I can't recommend him. Its my opinion that his shop is more like a “pawn shop” than a jewelry shop.
