I called to inquire if they had anyone at this location who does natural hair and was advised that the stylist who does this is available Thursday. I booked an appointment for 11a. I received a call Thursday morning from Nikki stating that the stylist had an emergency and wouldn't be in. She didn't even offer a different time, she offered a different location, which should've been my first cue. I told her that I'd called the other location and they didn't have anyone available there so she advised that I could check back later that day or the next morning. I called this morning, and Nikki advised that the stylist was going to be out the whole week. Now it's possible that this is true and that Nikki just doesn't have the wherewithal to use statements of empathy like "I apologize for this inconvenience" or have the ability to offer an assurance of help. She uses "unfortunately" and carries on like everything is fine. The people that Walmart hires at these locations don't have a business mindset. They have a McDonald's employee mindset. They simply don't care or don't know, and perhaps it isn't even their fault. Perhaps it's the pay. I knew what the odds were when I called, and hadn't been to a smart style in years because the quality of people that they hire. But I decided I wanted my hair done at the last minute and as a last ditch effort thought I'd try. Don't! Lol, do not waste your time or peace.

This will be my second time booking and Neke does not disappoint! I’ve gotten the shampoo, cut, and style and each time I’ve gotten so many compliments. Neke is so light with her hands when she’s at that shampoo bowl. While sitting in the chair she lets you know everything that is taking place. I’ll definitely continue to be a returning client.

Walked in at 3pm ... I asked for a basic service...Nikki advised that most people make appointments. So she told me that she and the other stylist were waiting on their clients...I sat for almost 2 hours and no one showed. I would say this is a POOR business idea and will cause this store to close eventually. Seems like Nikki must be salary because if she was commission she would have had me in and out instead of losing a sale and generous tip.On the contrary the other sylist was super nice and ready to work but was afraid to do so unless Nikki said so. Smh.If you watch the video...they both did absolutely nothing for hours while I sat.I feel sorry for some of these companies. I bet if Nikki owned this salon I would have been in the wash bowl 5 minutes after telling her what services I wanted.

Made an appointment online for a haircut at 6:30. Arrived at 6:26. Was told they weren't taking any more customers that day. When I explained I already had an appointment, they rudely told me that they didn't see it on their screen. No other customers were there. Location doesn't close until 7:00. My haircut usually takes a stylist ~10 minutes. Drive 20 minutes each way. Will not be coming back.

I came here to get my hair colored and highlighted and when I made the appointment the lady said it would be a two week process, where first they color then come back in 2 weeks later for highlights. I said okay also it was a great price for the coloring which she quoted me 34.97. So the next day I came in for my first appointment and the lady doing my hair already started to make me upset because she kept suggesting colors besides the one that I wanted, then she went on to tell me she was going to do a 2 step process. Where she was going to color and highlight my hair all together at one time. Which of course made my day because I would have my hair done that was a big mistake. Not only did she keep suggesting colors that I did not want she didn't use the proper dye for my highlights which of course didn't even come out at all so basically I head of newly u dyed hair of a color I had no idea what to call , I know she could clearly see the look of disappointment on my face ? and when she ask did I like it I said no there was no highlights and the color was all wrong this lady had the nerve to tell me at least I got my Grey hairs colored. And kept trying to show me the whole 2 little highlights of a brownish color that was in the front of my hair. Now I'm just super mad and ready to go not only did she do a horrible job and I hate my hair now she charged me 60$ for 2 bowls of color like really what is wrong with this place so im super upset and don't recommend for color. And I didn't even get a discount or Apology she then thought I was gonna ome back in 2 weeks to try again...Services: Hair coloring

i made an appointment online for 1130 AM today. when I get there lights off and gate pulled down, with no explanation as to when they would return. poor customer service. Then the customers service disallows you to talk to a live agent.

Ms.Tee She is an excellent hair stylist and she is great great at her customer service skills she needs to be acknowledged in all of her hard work and efforts and does need a pay increase this young lady really really goes really hard for her customers

Yesterday while Walmart I decide to stop in to try to get a haircut. But there was only two employees an the young lady told me that the other lady was new. Meanwhile not one customer there for service and the lady looked on the screen an said she had a appointment coming in a few minutes needless to say my husband an I was shopping an we never seen anyone come in. However when asked about just getting the haircut I was told I would have to come back on Friday. I will never go back here.

I scheduled an appointment to get my hair dyed and cut. I forgot my wallet at home and I had to call 3 times before someone finally answered. I told them what happened and asked if it was ok that I was 10 minutes late. I was informed that I didn't have an appointment and I'd have to make one to get my hair dyed. What was the point in scheduling an appointment online? Won't go back.
