I have been with this bank for 10 years plus. I have nothing but great things to say. Wonderful people work there. Very helpful and patient. Sam is always wonderful and so polite when I go through the drive thru. Thank you for being awesome.

Won't ever recommend this cu to anyone after the way they handled my father in law who recently passed aways account when he was robbed of his life savings by a healthcare worker that stole his debit card and withdrew $6,000. He had been able to get up there to file all the forms he was asked, brought an affidavit and a police report stating that they were unauthorized. He was told they would pull the footage from the ATM machines and the detective was supposed to work on this case which he hasn't done anything either since he is now passed away and the credit union basically says there's nothing there going to do even though every thing they had asked us to do. We got done all documents and now basically they're just saying we're not going to help you. My father in law had money put away for his final expenses that was stolen. In this credit union refuses to protect their members from this type of theft. The sheer and lack of concern or care has been shocking. They have even blocked me a member since 1996 who still has two auto loans in good standing from their social media platform. All because I simply questioned why they wouldn't help think twice before doing business here because with the amount of fraud and theft these days you are not protected with this financial institution apparentlyAnd to add insult they have been charging maintenance fees even though they were notified my dad had passed away while we were trying to get his money returned. They actually had the gaul to charge maintenance fees that they refuse to even refund that small amount of money.They have now blocked me from being able to message them and from the social media sites to keep me from letting other members know how they are handling this. Appears they are ashamed and hiding it. I will continue to update this until it is settled one way or the other.Keep in mind I am a member of 27 years and in good standing with two current auto loans with them.

For over the past year the atm outside is always broken and all they say is oh we have a service guy coming out. He always is out there and so called fixes it and it's down again 2 days later. I'm tired of having to wall inside everytime just to get a little money out. They need to replace the whole atm it's obviously broken and can't be repaired cause no exaggeration it is for real broken every week for a year at least now. Just fed up with this bank at this time

Only bank l ever heard of with a practice of saying at the ATM a check may take up to 2 days to clear, but the phone teller will tell you it actually may take up to 5 days like they can just lie abd hold your money ransom like that.???

If you work hard and value your money, stay away from this place. Firstly, their app is awful. Ever since downloading it I’ve had problems with it constantly locking me out for no reason at all. I’ve had to call at least 5-10 times or go in person and waste my time for them to get me back into it. Few months ago my bank account was hacked and over the course of a month, almost $1000 dollars was stolen from me. Not once did I receive a phone call informing me or did they shut my bank card off. After that, they spent three months charging me fees which I was never told of or aware. After running triple digits out of my account without so much as letting me know, they decided they wouldn’t be giving me my money back either. I was a member for over 13 years and its very clear they don’t care about you.

Edit to add an update: I am unable to respond to the reply from SC Federal below, so I will do it here. I have not been contacted. I still cannot access my account.Original message:I do not recommend banking here or having a mortgage here because if you have the wrong phone number, it is impossible to log on to your online account. You can have the right username and password, but that doesn’t matter if the phone number is wrong or it cannot receive texts. And guess what? There is no department to update that login phone number for you. You have to do it from the online account which you can’t access. I’ve spoken to 6 different agents and they all transfer responsibility.They are using an infuriating phone system which makes you go through 10 minutes of robot questions and information before getting to the right menu. Once in the right menu and talking to a person, you get transferred around and then eventually sent back to the main menu to start over. Press 0? That starts the robot over again from the beginning instead of connecting to a human.This technology that is supposed to make things easier is making things harder.
