“I've been shopping at Ace Hardware since I was a little kid, and one thing that's always been consistent is the people. Whether it's the Pickens, Salem, or West Union location, the staff has always been friendly, helpful, and easy to deal with.
Ace isn't usually the cheapest place to shop, and you'll often pay a little more than you would at the big-box stores. That said, they almost always have exactly what I need, which is worth a lot when you're trying to finish a project or just need one specific item.
If you're buying a mailbox, a pair of wire cutters, some boots, or just need a quick hardware item, Ace is hard to beat for convenience and customer service. If you're buying materials for a whole house or a large deck, you can probably save quite a bit by shopping around.
Overall, I've always had good experiences here, and the customer service keeps me coming back.”
“Adam was great felt like we have know him for a long time. He was very thorough in explaining what was needed and recommended for this time next year. I have use Access Garage Doors for all our needs in both houses and have not been disappointed yet. Thank you Adam for getting my garage door back in service!”
“Needed a few parts for my lawn mower I think the guys name is Andy this guy is just the best he is very knowledgeable and very helpful and professional boss man I would give him a raise”
“Lots of affordable tools. Quality is questionable. Some items are great and some aren't worth looking at. Do your homework on big ticket items. Check reviews.”

“Friendly staff. But always out of the sanding pads we are looking for. Don't seem to be making any effort to find a different supplier to take care of their customers.”
“I mean absolutely love homedepot. This is the place I chose to get my supplies and tools. I get for home repair and renovations. Homedepot is also the store I get my diy or work an hour y55”
“Staff was friendly and very helpful they didn't have exactly what I needed but took the time to help me find something that would work temporarily! Good service all the way around!!!”
“If there was a way to do an even higher rating I would! I had to get a truck rental today and the guy who helped me, Nate was amazing. Very professional, helpful and all around just gave me a great experience. There was an issue with the rental contract and he handled it swiftly and made sure I knew what was going on due to the wait for the actual Penske rep on the phone. When I also asked how to set the trailer up onto the truck, he took me out there, have very clear verbal instructions to help guide me in the correct way and even gave me some tips! First time experience with all of this so it was extremely helpful and soothed my nerves about driving with a trailer. Nate truly is great and I wish I could find my receipt to do the survey as well. 10/10!”
“Super great Employees,,#1on helping those who need help,,, very kind and respectful and professional people who work there,,,I suggest anyone looking for home improvement help ,, visit There,,,?”
“Bought a riding mower and trailer from here back in the spring. We like going here when we can to avoid the crowds at some of the other stores. Associates here are generally knowledgeable and helpful. Store was clean and in order. Prices are comparable to other nearby competitors.”

“They just acquired this from the previous owners, Neville Hardware, and they are adding more inventory. They have everything you would need for hardware or plumbing. All kind’s of pipes and fittings from brass, steel, and even copper and stainless… Things you can’t find elsewhere. Ace hardware in West Union is the only other place I have found locally that keeps pipe fittings in stock, but still Head-lee has more variety and large sizes. They are still stocking new items but they have so much already. Definitely a contractor’s safe place for hardware!”
