Great park! $3/car entry fee. The waterfall is at the end of the parking lot, but don't leave without exploring the other trails along the river!Picnic area: There are lots of tables with grills nearby, but no alcohol is allowed in the park.
Chau Ram park is open 7am-Dusk daily March-October and 9am-4pm daily November-February. Chau Ram is located at the confluence of Ramsey Creek and the Chauga River and is Oconee County’s “Best Kept Secret.” Visitors can enjoy 25 campsites, ready with water and electricity, three miles of hiking trails and over a mile of the Chauga River running through the park with rapids such as the pumphouse rapids, can-opener and the V rapid. The main attractions of the park include a handicap accessible 40 foot waterfall and a 160 foot suspension bridge spanning the Chauga River. Tubing, hiking, fishing, picnicking, and camping are enjoyed by visitors. Four rental areas for parties, gatherings, and weddings are available.
