“Family Dollar, unlike the Dollar General, has professional workers who keep the shelves stocked and the aisles free of boxes and clutter. I can always find what I need. The prices ring up according to the shelf sticker so there aren't surprises when you check out.”

“Just like any other dollar general, good prices on some stuff but really bad on others. If you see something listed at one price and come in a week later it could be a completely different price, which I guess is a good and a bad. Also they stopped selling my favorite coffee so I dont go there anymore really, which even when they did sell them theyd never be in a cooler/freezer, itd always be sitting out and lukewarm if not straight up hot. All and all, some small bads but overall a good place if you need something quick you cant get at your average convenience store”
“Belton, SC DG Market: Amazing remodel into DG Market. Store is more spacious and packed with more groceries and products than before. Self check out is now an option, which is welcomed. Still has the same helpful and friendly staff.”
“I went there yesterday because the power is still out for the 4th day on the 2nd day I gave out everything in my freezer and refrigerator to the lower income area that has power but no food it was great one person invited me to eat dinner with them in times like this we should be our brothers keeper. back to piedmont store, the friendly and caring ppl feels like the old days when employees truly cared about customers, and can't believe someone armed robbed them for $200 he got caught within 30 minutes too, " Anderson police department GO TEAM BLUE. “Awesome staff and even opened until hours posted ...went to 2 dollar general and both closed before 9:45pm and desperately needed to load cash app card and the next store in route was here and was here when I needed them THANK GOD for them!! “New location! It's also one of the "market" versions (basically it has more grocery items in addition to the regular items). The staff seems friendly so far, so that's a plus. The store was also very clean and organized. I personally did, however, find its placement to be odd with there being three other nearby locations already (but they aren't market versions of DG). Also, in my opinion, the entrance to the parking lot is off-putting. There isn't an entrance from the main road even though DG is right beside the main road. The entrance is on a road that you have to turn onto from the main road, then go into the parking lot and up that to park (kind of like making U shape). Anyway, I would recommend this location. Seems to be pretty nice so far!”
“When I went in that store I was amazed at how clean and perfectly organized it was and it made me think Dollar General sucks so bad and I have been going there for so long having no idea how much better this store was!”
“Definitely a good store with a good manager, but customers on the other hand are a different story! The place looks a bit over crowded with stock that needs to be put on the shelves, and they try but I’ve watched the store go from all put together to trashed in a days time. So that’s why I don’t deduct stars it’s not the employees faults.”

It has a huge area that has groceries. Extremely neat, well stocked and the employees are helpful and kind.

I want management to see this review. I love Piedmont South Carolina. In a 10 mile there are probably 10 or more store's. So I shopped at all of them and Mrs. Adams had been the kindest employee you have a Dollar General.
I have encountered extremely rude employees. Some that should no longer have there job.
Mrs. Adams, went above and beyond what her regular duties call for.
I have tried to talk with other employees at other stores about the, "Penny Tuesday". Mrs. Adams had been the employee to talk with me about it.
Consistently, for 3 years I shopped at Dollar General. Still do. Dispute most of the employees are rude.
It was really nice. That's what is missing. Customer service, being able to shoo and scan items without being followed or the employee will be constantly walking in a circle looking at you. Both making you feel uncomfortable. So I stopped my first Penny Tuesday.
I just wanted to let management know what a wonderful employee Mrs. Adams is. Also, thank her.
