About FRANKLIN HOTEL
The Franklin Hotel is one of the oldest hotels in Deadwood and has just gone through a wonderful remodel. It is a very historic place and a big time hotel in Deadwood, with 78 rooms that can accommodate one to five people. The updated rooms are very modern, fantastic, very clean, and comfortable, providing old historic hotel vibes throughout. They have walk-in showers and all have a refrigerator, a microwave, and a coffee maker. Its location is great, very convenient, and right in the middle of everything on the main strip of old downtown, so you can walk anywhere in Deadwood from here. The hotel features the newest slot machines and a cool bar in the basement. Legends Steakhouse is the best restaurant in the area, with great food, a really cool atmosphere, and attentive service, though it is definitely expensive. The staff is very attentive, informative, friendly, and so very helpful, providing great customer service. There is a great bar where you can meet famous people during busy times. So many famous people have visited this hotel. It is definitely worth visiting and staying here. While there is construction going on, it does not interfere with sleep. It is highly recommended to book in advance during busy times like the bike rally. This has been a great experience and is definitely a place to visit when in Deadwood.

Updated rooms were very modern but you still get the old historic hotel vibes throughout the hotel and casino. Staff was very attentive and informative. Location is great!!! You are right at the main strip of old downtown.
