“Ate a grill cheese sandwich for $12 which was horrible. It was made with gumball size mozzarella balls which did not even cover the toasted wonder bread. You should be embarrassed to serve this. I should have sent it back. On a positive note the onion rings were good. Did not stay in a room. That score was from past stays.Food & drinks: See above review”

“Located right at the start of Deadwood on the Southeastern side near the city of Lead, it was clean and comfortable. About a 30 min walk, 5 min drive to historic downtown where the majority of the casinos and attractions are located. There is a trolley that can take you downtown for about $2 which I suggest you take as it is quite the little trek. The fitness center looked great and the hot tub was HOT, perfect for a relaxing evening after a day of gambling, hiking and sightseeing around town. There is a casino at the resort and it’s connected to a restaurant. The price during the week was quite a deal but it goes up almost 3X as much on weekends which I’m sure is the norm for all the hotels in town. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again although I would probably try a different place that is closer to the main attractions next time.”

“I never stayed here before and we will stay here again but there was a couple of problems the bed was a little high and it was a little hard to sleep on and the toilet was a little low for me and I wanted to take a shower and didn't realize it was a jacuzzi tub and I couldn't get into it but otherwise I will stay again”

“Less amenities because of it's historic nature. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Had water and drinks on same level as room. And they even gave me some ibuprofen. Parking is tight but they make sure you have a spot.Walkability: A block off all the action in Deadwood.”

“We did not stay at the hotel so this review is restraunt based.Safety: As a local this is a very safe area to stay and eat.Food & drinks: Reasonable pricing and probably once of the cheapest restraunts in Deadwood. The food is comfort food so nothing special and they have a little of everything. This is the most convenience free parking and service in the area.”

“Had a beer to cool down. The lady serving and taking care of the place was awesome. Not a huge selection of beer but what they had was $4.00 so cheaper than other places.”

“I loved this place. Just a warning that water is scalding hot and could easily burn and don't plan on the pull out couch for a bed. It was terrible. It was very quiet except for street noise in the morning. We will definitely stay here again.Walkability: Very easy walk to main street and breakfast right across the street”

“Didn't stay at the hotel. Just went to play the slot machines. Stay in town for a couple of days for sight seeing. Thought I would like to play the slots. I really had a fun time. Must have played about a dozen different machines. They have a very different selection of machines both old and new.”

“I used to go to their lunch buffet several years ago as often as I could. The food was always amazing and the service was wonderful too. Every day they had different themes, my favorite was their Mexican themed day. I was so sad to hear when they discontinued that and I’m still hoping they’ll bring it back one day. ?? Pleaseeeeeee! ”

“Matthew m that complained about not knowing he needed to set down his Id. I asked him for his Id he had it in his hand. I repeatedly asked him to set down his id. Finally he sets it down. He says "you said set it down enough. I replied"you weren't setting it down so I kept asking you does that make sense." He replies"whatever just f***ing check my id." My boss heard it and kicked him out. He tried to deny saying it but we both heard him. I know dealers from other casinos that say "we got done playing at the Gold Dust and had a blast.”

“You can't get better location than this. Located in the historic downtown of Deadwood. This place is a historic building. There's nothing fancy about the rooms. It's Deadwood, so why would you need a fancy room in the first place??The cost was best in town. The casino and restaurant are top notch. The service was amazing. They help bring bags up and down from the rooms. Parking is 1 block away, and they'll shuttle you back to the hotel if you choose.Walkability: You can walk to all the best places in Deadwood from this hotel.Food & drinks: The bar on the first floor has a great variety and good prices. The steak in the restaurant is amazing.”

“The rooms were considerably better than the competition at Tru by Hilton. Larger more spacious accommodations here. The bathrooms were nice, though the plastic tabs to hold the shower doors were worn out and no longer holding the doors closed properly. The hotel has two restaurants and multiple bar options. Parking is premium if you want in the parking garage you need to arrive as close to check or a little earlier if possible. Otherwise be prepared to park across the street.Rooms: The rooms were open with good space around, the table clocks provided usb ports (for those of us that forget phone chargers but have cables). The shower doors required a towel wedged between them to keep closed others they opened up. Overall this is a better choice than the rooms at Tru.Nearby activities: At the start of Deadwood, this hotel and Casino (Tin Lizzie) starts the official downtown of the city. Start walking and you'll end up at the end of the downtown in no tike with many bars, casinos, dance floors, karaoke, and cigar shop to be found.Food & drinks: Subpar, no true N/A options. O'douls is not a true zero beer. American standard says anything up to .5% is. European standard is 0.0. They would do well to carry Bud Zero, Heineken zero, or Stella zero in place of O'douls.”
