“Great Maverik here in Elk Point, SD. NOTE: if your going to use your gas pump, your GONNA need a auth code before you use the pump. Back to review, however, the priceboard (diesel) facing SB I-29 wasn't working properly at the date of visit (Flag Day 2026 (June 14th)). Inside though, the store was very nice and clean. The door chime is like no other I've heard. It was as though it was a mixed 7-Eleven/Circle K chime I've heard. The staff were nice and very friendly. The store was also nicely organized. I like how Maverik uses little boats (hot dog boats) for their pizza's. Its big enough you can put a slice of Pizza and a Honey Stinger Energy Waffle in. I got a 30fl oz Goji Citrus Strawberry (yes they actually still sell it here), a pizza slice, and a Honey Stinger Energy Waffle (original flavor). The total after tax and rewards perks (free drink as I'm a former K&G rewards member) was 5.50. This is a great place to stop along I-29 between Sioux Falls and Sioux City. “I would like to say a very big thank you to the staff after filling a giant pizza order for a family reunion! It was my bad that I didn't call to give them a heads up a few days before They still baked 12-15 pizzas for us in under an hour on a Saturday night!”

“Owners are super friendly - my 6 year old son loves going to “Sinclair”as he calls it. Elk Point locals call it A-1. Broasted food is delicious and ready in the warmer - we love the mini tacos, cheese balls, and popcorn chicken. They just got a soft serve ice cream machine which is delicious!”
