“Our dog got hurt on a Saturday evening and our local 24 hr vet didn't answer our calls. Dr. Kayla Brown got Missie in, diagnosed her, treated her like she was her own baby. Got us referred to where we needed and didn't charge us an arm and a leg (no pun intended). Kayla and her staff went above and beyond to make sure Missie got the necessary treatment and that it was cost effective for us....mind you we live in Chadron.”
“Humans always write the reviews of veterinarians. So in this review, the patient is writing the review! I am a Cavalier King Charles and a service dog working 24/7. As a puppy, I had severe digestive issues and developed a fear of vets. If I see that giant weight scale, I cower in a corner! Dr. Wahlert was so compassionate with me on this first hurdle for my yearly check up! This made such a difference for me. She also told me she does not like to over vaccinate dogs. Right on! My ward, Jay Brew, is extremely concerned about prairie rattle snakes. We are new to Hot Springs SD and a friend recommended a rattle snake vaccine. We all know that CKCs are bred to wander and rout game for hunters. She was, through experience, extremely knowledgeable and gave us sturdy advice! She made my annual exam so easy and comfortable and no nonsense. And Jay got to buy his favorite Hot Springs tomatoes! So both of us, we left knowing that if I had any health issues, she will be there for me.
I forgot to mention my heart murmurs. The problem with my breed. Her advice was not to medicate, but to observe any symptoms and get into see her. Once again, sound advice.
10 STARS FROM ME!”
