They changed my mom's phone number and promised I could factory reset the phone but didn't tell me that they actually bricked the phone with Apple ID password security. My mom is elderly and forgot that password. So now the phone is worthless.UPDATE DETAILS FOR STORE:If you are changing the phone number for an iPhone, make sure you either:1. factory reset it IN THE STORE, or2. CONFIRM that the user hasn't forgotten Apple-ID password. (if they have.. make sure they go through the lost password process FIRST before changing the phone number!)...because that process requires a code sent to the phone number, and if you change that phone number, you can never get that code, and Apple then thinks the phone is stolen, and the phone is bricked. Even the family contact list process doesn't work, because that phone number step comes up again throughout their security checks. It's infuriatingly frustrating, no matter what you do. This should be more streamlined.

Verizon, like many other large corporations, has failed to deliver quality customer service. Though its associates possess exceptional attitudes, they are limited to handling information. The company no longer prioritizes building a service relationship with its customers. I recently received a notification letter informing me of my eligibility for a Phone Payment plan. However, when I presented myself at the store, I was required to undergo another credit check. The unhelpful 800 services were contacted, and my credit was run again. I was transferred multiple times, and I had to repeat my details every time. Despite being stuck in a loop of three departments, I was repeatedly told that the next person would be able to help. Unfortunately, I was never able to get signed up with Verizon, even though I had a physical approval letter. This is a wasteful and unaccountable system that passes the buck and devalues valuable customers.

Using my number, from this location I got a cold call trying to sell me a watch for "$150" off. Had they bothered to look at my account, they would have seen I recently removed 6 lines from my account, including my watch. ?♀️ After almost 24 years, I'm dropping Verizon after spending 3 hours on chat with no resolve. Service and benefits have incredibly gone down. And I'm fed up.

They will lie to you about what you’re signing, don’t give you a copy of what you at signing just tell you to sign on electronic line. They get you into a contract without telling you. Awful service from company registered to abuse Verizon’s good name. They also don’t pay as well as other Verizon stores in eastern SD. Been so bad for so many years.

Update: Verizon online at least cared enough to credit my account the $1000 after they see my old cell is still sitting at their store a month after it was due and 2 other reps called that Rapid store. If you manage this store, QUIT you do not know anything about customer service!!! DONOT PUT UP with stupid!!!!The ABSOLUTELY worst phone experience of my entire life...from Texas to Arkansas to Louisiana to Florida!!! This was the worst!!! All those children wanted was a 36$ fee, they cared about nothing else. Not one person that came in that Sunday was treated with any dignity or treated as a customer. A 70 yr old lady was just asking for help to restart her phone and he walked away from her twice. I have been a customer for 10 yrs traded in an expensive phone and they not only wouldn't help me log on to their wifi to complete the process, they haven't shown verizon that I turned it in on 7/16/23- before it is due, costing me a $1000 rebate!!!Never have I ever seen a store with so many NICE people letting thuggs run over them. IM NOWHERE NEAR DONE Verizon.

Its always busy so we have to wait at least 20 minutes. I don't understand that. We're psying over $200 a month for service. I know I'm not the only one. Im sure they can afford to hire at least a couple employees.

I just wanted to call and talk to someone at my local store to check stock on a watch, they make it about impossible! I somehow end up at Verizon customer service, and she tells me they have to do a soft credit check on me to continue. After telling her I just want to talk to the local store, she puts me on hold for 5 mins to go find the number for them. She comes back and gives me the same exact 800 number I initially called. What a joke. I could have drove to and from the store faster than this call took.
