“I own a very rare original and in tact 1966 Toyota FJ 40 with a 1973 F155 engine. It had issues since purchase which other resto companies wouldn't undertake - mechanical was daunting given the age and scarcity of the vehicle.

Zach and crew took it on board and began a methodical assessment of repairs then worked with me to prioritize them. He began working through them one on one plus providing a condition update on structure and frame. From that we were able to go from a vehicle which was not drivable to one I just put ten miles on without problem.

They redid exhaust system, shocks, transmission, fuel system, drive shafts and rear end as the main body of work. This winter they will restore the electrical system and install a tachometer plus clean up the paint without ruining the patina.

At the end of the day there are a lot of places where promises of restoration are made but you end up in a never journey with the shop trying to get them over the line in a transparent manner. Straight Lines is not that shop.

Quality work, attention to detail, an owner who listens and a team of experts. If Zac doesn't have one on staff he has an equitably good business partner in his pocket.

Don't look elsewhere for restoration work or to have your project car built. Get in the queue for a slot (there is a waiting list and that alone should indicate the quality of work done here) and build the plan with them. Be flexible and listen when they make mechanical recommendations.

Good folks who deliver. A hard thing to find these days. Five of five stars and know that I am the original difficult customer so this is a hard earned ratings”

“The team at Cliff Avenue Upholstery & Restorations did a fantastic job on my ‘79 IH Scout restomod project. They are experts in auto restoration and have one standard- perfection. My project used a powertrain and chassis from Velocity Restorations in Florida. Unfortunately, the suspension was off by over 8” due to a mistake by Velocity. Ennis and Aaron were able to rework the shocks, coils, and linkages to lower the body to correct height. The team at Cliff Avenue has a strong faith so you know they are doing honest work at a fair price. I would recommend Cliff Avenue Upholstery & Restorations for all your automotive projects.”
