“We travel as a family of 21 people each June to Minnesota, stopping at Watertown for a night made of wonderful family memories. We all aim to make these memories at the same hotel for obvious reasons. Reservations were made through Booking.com for Holiday Inn Express with the promise of being able to cancel for a full refund, should the cancellation happen before a certain date. I called 2 days before the cancellation deadline to attempt cancelling, and Booking.com has made it hell on wheels to cancel the $247+ reservation BUT working with the manager(Greg) and front end host (Kris) has been a godsend and hope in humanity of serving others to the nth degree. These 2 people take time for you, they make it seem like you are the only one they are caring for in the moment and have sincere appreciation you called them and considered their hotel. In making your future bookings ALWAYS make certain you are calling the hotel's front desk and don't be fooled to make your reservations through Bookings.com or any related company. These 3rd party companies (usually based in 3rd world countries) makes significant commissions while the hotel takes a HUGE cut in what they make with each reservation booked through these companies.”

“Great experience made stay easy convenient and comfortable the staff is very nice especially Kaitlin she was very friendly and gave very good long-term stay comfortability overall this has been a great experience for my family and myself.”

“A very nice place to go that contains a Minerva‘s restaurant and is attached to a hotel. We had our business meeting here all day long and we’re giving great service the Wi-Fi was decent and I really have no complaints about this place so if you need to host an event I would strongly suggest the Watertown event center.”

“This was one of our favorite stops on our vacation. Decided to stop in by chance after an 8 hour drive from our previous hotel. Immediately made to feel welcome by the gentleman at guest services/rewards. He was so pleasant and accommodating we decided to stay the night over driving into Watertown SD and we're glad we did. Joining their players cards we were offered a free drink where we enjoyed their beautiful sports book venue where we watched a NHL game on a near-movie sized screen. Food was delicious both at night and at breakfast in the morning. Thank you to the hotel registration for also making us feel welcome and putting up with us. We talked about a future return as soon as we left.”
