This low-key car wash tucked away in this area is definitely worth a try if you are in the area.
Was in the area looking for a " self-service type car wash." I found this one and decided to stop by and give it a try.
Me personally I prefer to use the self-service car wash lots, I have had such a bad experience with the automatic car wash facilities, car damage, owners not Taking responsibility so to avoid those issues I only go to any self-service car wash when available.
Yes, this isn't some brand new top-notch sparkling car wash facilities, but if you look beyond appearance and take note of the bays. They have adequate room for most vehicles. You can fit a motorcycle, car, truck, 4 door truck, small boat, etc. Anything but a camper, you should be fine.
The equipment is not brand new equipment but it all works and functions as it should properly. I was pleased with that part.
This place uses a timer coin pay box. Be sure to bring quarters or singles, 5s, 10s . I don't believe their change machine will handle any bill bigger than 10 dollars.
The change machine was accurate for me, and I had no issues when getting quarters.
I spent 10 dollars and received 30 minutes on the timer until the spray shut off.
You apparently get bonus time added if you spent a certain amount all at once. I wanna say that after five dollars worth some bonus time was added. Not 100 percent on that, though.
In my opinion 30 mins was more than enough time to wash my vehicle which I was very pleased about.
I had a good experience here today and would recommend this car wash to others.
With that said, I planned ahead and bought a few items to help make the wash go better. It's up to you if you want to use the same technique, but it's what has worked for me for years now and such a convenience.

*Small bucket
* scrub brush
(for tires)
* scrub sponge
(to wash your vehicle properly )
* bring plenty of quarters
( at least 10 dollars worth)
* micro fiber hand towels
( to wipe the excess water off your windows , side mirrors to avoid hard water spots)

“Greats Diesel price. Parking $17. They have about 15 spots. Showers $7. They have 2. Friendly staff! Clean and well stocked store. Walmart close by within walking distance. Waffle house, McD's and several other restaurants close by. 4 hotels within walking distance too. Definitely a great spot and I will save it as a favorite place!”

I really appreciate the attention they give my old ford truck. Just proof that you truck doesn't have to be clean already to get a wash.”
