They checked and my fairly new alternator was bad. I put it on so I decided to take that one off and put on the new one. When I carried the bad one in they told me it wasn’t one of their brand. Confused, I went out and checked the glovebox and found the receipt from one of their competitors. THEY GAVE ME A RIDE DOWN AND BACK TO GET THE REPLACEMENT!!! And eventually when they weren’t so busy a young man came out and helped me finish up the installation. Thank goodness good people like this still exist in small town America!!! “I saw the sign on the highway while traveling I-40 East, the NAPA Auto parts was behind a Loves.
My phone mount came off of my dash and I needed something to hold it back on there and something that would be super strong.
I went in with the idea of using Goo gone to get off the residual stickiness, they did not have Goo gone but Bruce was super helpful and he found me a 3M adhesive removal spray and suggested the 3M double-sided tape.
It has worked so far so good, even though I know I need to remove the last bit of residual stickiness to have it stick more permanently - but I am on the road and I didn't want to spend a super long time on it at this time.
