“I had an alignment issue that caused my American Powertrain upgraded Tremec TKX to jump out of 4th gear when I took my foot off the accelerator. Even though my warranty had run out time wise, I had low km on this new transmission. First thoughts on cause was a transmission issue. I reached out to Sam at American Powertrain. Sam worked with me to eliminate some of the possible causes (shifter interference with car body). He even sent me a replacement shifter as we thought that could be a cause. Still no luck. He then suspected an alignment issue. My bell housing had already been dowel indexed to the crankshaft, however my TKX was not being centralized properly with my bell housing. After getting a bushing made to reduce the tolerance between the two, problem was solved. Thanks for the excellent customer service Sam!”

“I wanted my 2011 Kia soul radio replaced and had very few options on places that knew how to replace one. Was told a 3-4 wait on car and turned into 7 hours due to an error on manufacturer. They were very considerate and compensated for the much longer wait. Unfortunately when I left there was an issue with my turn signals that were working before the appointment. Called them back and said to bring it back. Turns out they forgot to connect the hazard button which had caused the issue. Besides the long drive back to fix the error I was happy for the install and the helpfulness of the store manger (who had the best customer service ever).”

“Cookeville Honda was able to replace my front grille emblem. Since it would take a couple of days, I was able to get a loaner vehicle so I was able to get all of my many errands done. And they buffed out some marks on my door for me. They also did a multi-point inspection which told me my battery was fine. Best of all, a few days later when the car would not start on a Sunday, when service department was closed, my salesman, Jason (from 2y previously) returned my panic call and assured us it was not the immobilizer causing the car to not start but that the battery can run down in only 7m if car is not running.”
