“I had an alignment issue that caused my American Powertrain upgraded Tremec TKX to jump out of 4th gear when I took my foot off the accelerator. Even though my warranty had run out time wise, I had low km on this new transmission. First thoughts on cause was a transmission issue. I reached out to Sam at American Powertrain. Sam worked with me to eliminate some of the possible causes (shifter interference with car body). He even sent me a replacement shifter as we thought that could be a cause. Still no luck. He then suspected an alignment issue. My bell housing had already been dowel indexed to the crankshaft, however my TKX was not being centralized properly with my bell housing. After getting a bushing made to reduce the tolerance between the two, problem was solved. Thanks for the excellent customer service Sam!”

“I wanted my 2011 Kia soul radio replaced and had very few options on places that knew how to replace one. Was told a 3-4 wait on car and turned into 7 hours due to an error on manufacturer. They were very considerate and compensated for the much longer wait. Unfortunately when I left there was an issue with my turn signals that were working before the appointment. Called them back and said to bring it back. Turns out they forgot to connect the hazard button which had caused the issue. Besides the long drive back to fix the error I was happy for the install and the helpfulness of the store manger (who had the best customer service ever).”
“'66 chevy's starter got a complete rebuild. Was dropped off fri, memorial day Monday and ready to pickup Tuesday. Not bad at all! The damaged parts were all in a bag so you know you got what you paid for. I installed it immediately and it worked like new. I'm not sure what more you could ask for.”

“Cookeville Honda was able to replace my front grille emblem. Since it would take a couple of days, I was able to get a loaner vehicle so I was able to get all of my many errands done. And they buffed out some marks on my door for me. They also did a multi-point inspection which told me my battery was fine. Best of all, a few days later when the car would not start on a Sunday, when service department was closed, my salesman, Jason (from 2y previously) returned my panic call and assured us it was not the immobilizer causing the car to not start but that the battery can run down in only 7m if car is not running.”

The plugs were already gapped and ready to be installed. There employee was able to make it happen. The 'Zone' is a good starting point for auto parts.

“I would strongly caution anyone against supporting this company. The way some of their employees conduct themselves outside of work raises serious concerns about their character and judgment. In one case, an employee reportedly chose to prioritize a personal relationship over their own child’s well-being, resulting in their daughter being left without a home. That kind of behavior reflects a troubling lack of responsibility, empathy, and integrity.
When a company employs individuals who demonstrate such poor decision-making in their personal lives, it makes you question the values and standards the company upholds. Businesses should be mindful of who represents them, because character matters—both inside and outside the workplace.
I would not feel comfortable supporting a company associated with this kind of situation, and I hope they take a closer look at the people they choose to employ.”
“The employee Don saved us from being stranded at 9:30 at night!!! He called us a mobile mechanic and helped us get our new alternator put in. Without his help, we would have been stranded 70 miles from home.”
“I have a 2008 F350 diesel that needed significant repairs. I am very grateful for the service Jake, my mechanic and the rest of the staff offered. It was about a $4000 repair job and we were about to travel with the truck and RV to Florida, we made it as far as Knoxville after the repairs and the truck acted the same way as it did before the repairs. I called DAS/Colonial and explain the situation. As soon as Jake was available, he personally drove to where we were stranded and assessed the situation, brought his tools, spare parts and discovered the issue. We were back on the road and have not had any issue. Thank you Jake for taking the time to go the extra mile or in this case, the 80 miles to ensure our vehicle was properly fixed! A sidenote… I offered to pay for his troubles, and he refused… I would recommend him as a mechanic!”

“I had a new battery installed there this afternoon. The attendant said it would be, 30-45 minutes. I was there much longer but since I thought they would text me or call me when my car was ready, I waited. I never even asked if it was done. It was my fault for not checking in but the install was done, that is really all that matters anyway.”

“I took my car into Cookeville Nissan to have an oil change and tire rotation done. I did not have an appt they got me in quickley and under 80.00 dollars. After the service was done Austin went over everything with me in detail. He listened to my concerns. Did not pressure but worked with me. I believe it was the best exsperience I have had since going there since 2016. Austin even called me with prices of some things I wanted to do when he told me he would. Excellent customer service.
