Slobberbones Pet Bakery & Bath
1414 Jenkins Rd Suite 120, ChattanoogaI ordered a themed birthday cake from Slobberbones. They really surpassed my expectations. They didn't just do a regular birthday cake, they created a custom cake for my theme with edible glitter. Birthday guests were blown away and the dogs loved the cake. House of Pets Grooming
4220 Dayton Blvd #134, ChattanoogaI adopted a larger dog who doesn't like water, and she can be a bit unpredictable in new situations.
She had little issues at House of Pets Grooming! They understood the situation and had no problem letting my dog come in to test the waters, both figuratively and literally. They treated her gently, but firmly enough to make sure she didn't jump out of the tub!
I can't thank them enough for the professionalism and great job they did. They were also just really fun to talk to :-)!

Furry Tales Boarding, Indoor Daycare, and Grooming
4803 TN-58, ChattanoogaTried the new location in Ooltewah and had a great experience! I called for appointment and they got me in the next day. I showed a picture to the groomer of what I wanted and she copied it perfectly and evened out lop-sided ears from his previous cut at PetSmart. Their fee was $5 less than a basic cut at PetSmart but included great extras like nail trim and grind, a cute bandana and a photoshoot! Very happy with Brittany as our groomer and with the convenient new location. We will be back and have told all of our friends! Thank you!

East Brainerd Animal Hospital
8488 E Brainerd Rd, ChattanoogaAfter four years of no pets, we are once again using East Brainerd Animal Hospital for our new puppy. Clients since 2012, we have always received great communication on-site and by phone, and their doctors are great at explaining each part of the pet's treatment. I have no hesitance in recommending this friendly veterinary office for any pet owner. (We now have two small 3-year-old dogs who receive all of their care at East Brainerd Animal.)

Red Bank Animal Hospital
4416 Dayton Blvd, ChattanoogaI have nothing but positive praise for this veterinary office. Dr. Fisher is my all time favorite vet and I have been vetting animals for 25yrs. She is super sweet, she cares about her patients and their parents. I’m use to being rushed when I take our fur kids to the vet so when she took the time to talk about things and spent whatever time needed to make sure we know what is going on and have all information as well as listening to what we have to say was a MAJOR moment for me. I am so grateful that we found a vet who genuinely cares about every animal she sees! We lost our ferret Finn last week due to illness, but we got more time with him than we would have without her. The staff is also really great! The girls are always so sweet and helpful and they make the experience easier and lighter with their positivity and empathetic nature. If you want a vet who is going to do what she can for your fur babies and who will help them live happy, healthy lives I HIGHLY recommend Red Bank Animal Hospital. They deserve a 6th star just because they go above and beyond ?♥️

They are communicative while I am away, if my dog doesn't eat her food they offer her bananas. They are so sweet to her! I love that she gets to attend daycare with other dogs while she boards so she has plenty of social time and comes home tired. She just got her first bath from them and it went great! Pet-Friendly Restaurants

Tanasi Brewing & Supplies
3701 Hixson Pike, ChattanoogaYour friendly Appalachian back again! Normally I visit a place at least 3 times before I post a review but after 1 visit I feel confidant this place is topnotch!
So as usual let's set expectations! Its in Hixson so away from the downtown traffic! The parking lot has plenty of room!
Once inside it's got plenty of room and the beers on tap are all brewed in house(so no domestic on tap). But if delicious craft beer isn't your thing...they do have a cooler with various canned options.
The outdoor area is amazing! It's dog friendly with a nice are for your dogs to play. There is also cornhole and a small Frisbee golf practice area!
No food but they do have food trucks select nights!
I highly recommend!

Puckett's Restaurant
2 W Aquarium Way, ChattanoogaTonight, a simple act of kindness at Pucketts downtown brought tears to my eyes.
When we arrived for dinner, we told the kind man up front that we prefer to sit at a table further back away from the live music due to Mila being autistic and sensitive to loud noise. He immediately was accommodating and sat us at a table further back as requested. Already a good experience.
When our waitress came up, we also mentioned to her that our daughter is autistic and can sometimes become overwhelmed by noise and crowds. Without hesitation, she immediately went out of her way to move our family to a completely quiet, empty room so our daughter could be comfortable.
It may have seemed like a small thing to her, but to us, it meant everything.
As parents of a child with autism, we’re used to constantly assessing environments, worrying about sensory overload, and hoping people will be understanding. Tonight, we didn’t have to explain ourselves or advocate for accommodations. She simply listened, understood, and took action with so much kindness and compassion.
Because of her, our daughter was able to enjoy her meal comfortably, and we were able to relax and enjoy our family time. Moments like these remind me that there are truly wonderful people in this world.
To our sweet waitress, thank you. Your empathy, thoughtfulness, and willingness to go above and beyond for a little girl you had just met meant more than you will ever know.
And if management sees this, please know that you have an incredible employee. She represented your business with such compassion and kindness, and she made a lasting impact on our family tonight.
Sometimes the smallest acts of understanding make the biggest difference. ❤️

Calliope Restaurant & Bar
422 E M L King Blvd, ChattanoogaSkip if you are vegetarian. Few options beyond hummus, pita and the whipped feta. The falafel were the tiniest I have ever seen and only 3 were served. So small all there was to eat was the deep fried crust, no soft steaming yummy green inside to taste. I have never had falafel like that. Hard and crunchy. We left hungry and wishing we had gone somewhere else. Service was very good but for the prices, one would expect that. Just an OK experience.

5975 Dayton Blvd, ChattanoogaI love this place and what they are all about. We had to give up our sweet kitty due to personal health issues and they were so warm and caring, from the staff to the volunteers. When I walked in with Josie, a teenage volunteer immediately took her from my arms and cuddled her. He was so gentle. ?
I also appreciate their screening requirements: spaying, shots, testing, microchip, etc. This only confirms that they require and deliver the best of care for their pets. God Bless this Pet Placement Center. You are providing a good service! ?

Play Wash Pint
113 Johnson St, ChattanoogaVisited Oct 7th from out of town. I did my research ahead of time and completed the online process. Upon arrival, I was welcomed by a polite young man. This was the 4th dog park visited over the past week of traveling in TN and GA. It was nice to see plenty of people and dogs along with staff and dog parents cleaning messes. Also, first place that the dog parents actually visited with me and was friendly. My dogs enjoyed. Bathrooms were clean. I splurged and had a couple beers while I played with my dogs. My dogs aren’t social butterflies playing with other dogs. They keep a big eye on me and want my attention.
