We spent almost a month in the hospital (we still here) They have excellent Nurses. Some are excellent human beings and professionals: The #1 Nurses Sabrina and Kaylee (not sure of the spelling) others that I do not remembered their names on the 5th floor, also Blayne, Julia, Susu,, 3rd Floor John and another male RN I cannot remember his name now. You all went beyond your duties and went beyond your responsibilities. THANK YOU.Young Doctor on the 3rd Floor. The dialysis personnel were great. Thank you for not returning Dr. Solomon and the female Dr, you gave us the opportunity to have a wonderful human being and great doctor that did an awesome job, Dr. Edward. PT therapists: Jason and Alison and Dr. Stewart THANK you for taking such a good care of my husband. Hospitalists were good. Thank you to the Specialist that work with David to treat his infection. I do not tried to spell your name because I cannot do it right, but you know who you are. He was the main reason we stayed at Parkridge, you are in our hearts for ever. Two reasons I do not give you a 5 Star, your maintenance department lack of compassion on responding to emergency in the room not once but twice to fix the toilet. Second, your cafeteria is the worst place I ever seen in my life, only 2nd to worst cafeteria to Memorial Hospital in Hixson on the poor variety of healthy food. This is the public cafeteria, the patient's one was ok. You all will remain in our hearts for your dedication and great service to my husband David.Thank you for each moment and encouragement.

Arrived with a possible blood clot in lower leg. Quickly admitted. Vitals taken - physical exam by Dr - X-ray taken determined it was not a clot via X-ray. Sent home. Problem a blood clot cannot be determined via X-Ray. A day later back in ER at North Park Memorial- an ultrasound was completed revealing Clot in leg.ER contacted Dr and treatment was administered. Life threatening condition and Parkridge did not know that ultrasound was the proper procedure to diagnose a clot. That is concerning.

Staff of nurses and dr.s great, cafeteria needs an overhaul. Not open for dinner and rude staff. Not much a selection and when you ask for condiments such as butter, or honey for example they say they don't have any. Spent a week getting a tray and something was always missing and when you tell them, they never show up with what was missing. Main entrance doors not open till 8am is also ridiculous because going through ER is stupid when your walking past all the sick people only to hope someone answers phone to let you through main doors to hospital rooms. At least have main doors open at 6am. Many homeless approached me almost everytime I went to my car. Security just sits back in the golf cart watching, never saw anyone ran off though. I also witnessed several deliver trucks at 6am trying the main entrance only to discover they aren't open till 8am.

Spent several hours Sunday in the Parkridge Main ER with my elderly Mother, who has some long-term, serious health issues at 85 yrs of age. Mom and I had a first-rate experience from registration, to care, and finally to admittance as a patient at the hospital. The ER staff was totally professional and on top of my Mom's care from the minute she was rolled through the doors of ER via ambulance. The hard work, the pace, the thorough communication was all that anyone could hope for out of an ER experience. Thank you to the nurses, paramedics, doctors, Nurse Practitioners, radiologists, etc. who contributed to my Mom's care. I've been to many ER's over the years in support of my parents (cancer; open heart; etc.), but last night's experience was exceptional. I saw the hustle and care we all deserve, and I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Parkridge Main for my exceptional experience yesterday evening. Thank you.

I was given a lab request to have blood drawn. I went to the lab on the third floor of the physicians building at Park Ridge, Main campus. The gentleman did 2 sticks, and still did not get my blood. He called the lady over, who said, “I see you are trouble!” kiddingly. She pulled my hand up and stuck a vein in my hand to try to draw blood. This did not work either. I told them no more blood draw attempts, and went downstairs and complained to my physician. My physician’s nurse told me that they’ve had many complaints about this lab and suggested I go to the main Hospital. I refused and said I would take the order and get it done back in Dalton where I’m from.To make matters worse the woman who tried to draw the blood from my hand, had long braided hair and after she had her gloves on both of her hands, she pulled her her hair back and, without changing her gloves, tried to draw blood from my hand.I am beyond disgusted, especially after finding out there have been many complaints about this lab!I understand this is a contracted service from LabCorp, which makes it even more important that the oversight of Park Ridge Medical Center not put up with this kind of shoddy service and unsanitary conditions! My name is Leslie Ellis. I expect someone from administration to look into this.

My son had been to two different ERs, spent four days in a major hospital in Murfreesboro and still didn't have a definitive diagnosis. He was life flight to Parkridge and they had his diagnosis in less than 4 Hts!!

My 18 year old daughter was brought to Parkridge Emergency Psychiatric Services to be involuntarily committed by Johnson Mental Health. She was evaluated hastily and PREMATURELY sent to Parkridge. THANK GOD for the fabulous doctors, nurses, and social workers at Parkridge Medical Emergency Psych Services!Thank you to Nurse Leta for treating my daughter like the lovely, gentle young lady she is. She listened to my daughter and used her many years of experience to bring my daughter's case to the attention of Dr. Katraggadda, who took the time to speak to and assess my daughter, coming to the conclusion that while she was suffering from anxiety and is on the autistic spectrum WAS NOT suicidal. Doing his due diligence, Dr. Katragadda then referred my daughter's case to the Social Worker, Sarah to give her professional recommendation (a psychiatrist was unavailable during this close to 48 hour ordeal). After she interviewed and assessed my daughter, both were in agreement that she was indeed NOT suicidal. After establishing a safety plan (to avoid something like this happening in the future), I'm happy to say my daughter is doing fine considering the stresses of college, and studying for her college exams. She is grateful as am I for the time taken by everyone to listen to her and myself. My daughter learned a huge lesson. Words matter. My eternal thanks to Nurse Leta, who got the ball rolling to Social Worker Sarah, to Dr. Katragadda, who finally signed off rescinding the at best, HASTY involuntary confinement order from Johnson Medical. Thank you, thank you, thank you to you all!!!

Do not go to this hospital if you’re not a black patient, they are very racist. As soon as you walk in the hallway, you see nurses laughing with the non-black patients while non white patients are either pressing the light or screaming for the room, they need assistance we left and are now heading to another hospital due to the fact we think they gave my mom something she was allergic to and they were very unsanitary. How do you help a patient without gloves ? then when I was asking for directions to get to my family members room, the lady wouldn’t take me there even though I was getting confused by her directions. I asked her twice and she still basically refused to take me to the room. i would say there was only one good nurse there out of all of them in the emergency room but for sure you do not see any black nurses if you don’t like your job and don’t like working with ppl outside your race you need to go somewhere else !!!! For any black persons safety just go somewhere else

I would like to commend the employees of PMC. They have provided comfort, empathy, and exceptional care of my husband many times this year when we were faced with health changes that posed as potentially life changing. He has been admitted to 4West twice and 3West once, a couple surgeries , IR procedures, multiple outpatient visits to the infusion area with Leslie, radiology exams frequently and had ER visits at PMC ER and PNorth ER. From check in, outpatient testing, nurses, doctors, housekeeping, PCTs, managers of each area and each person we came in contact with always greeted us with a smile and asked if there was anything we needed or they could do to help no matter how busy they were. Not only is this my place of employment, this is my "work family" and I am very thankful for them all. Kudos to you all for jobs well done!

My mom is there and they put her in a room with NO hot water and NO hand sanitizer or ANYTHING! The toilet paper is sitting on the floor because the roller thing is broken. This place is nothing like it used to be and I will certainly be glad when she’s released!! I will be reporting these horrible unsanitary conditions and I took pictures!

Not sure why any reasonable person would step into ParkRidge Medical Center or any HCA facility for that matter. ParkRidge along with other HCA facilities has committed Medicare Fraud by over admitting patients from the emergency department. The federal government believes the fraud is an amount over a BILLION DOLLARS!!!A Neurosurgeon at an HCA hospital in Florida gave an interview on NBC how there were cockroaches in the OR!!! How does anyone know that ParkRidge is any different???It wasn’t that long ago the hospital did an unauthorized autopsy on someone’s dead baby and kept the body from them!!! If that doesn’t scream unethical I don’t know what does !

I just spent 12 days here on the 4th floor. My ER time was rough and the wait for a bed was lengthy but they were busy. I felt my care inthe room was more than exceptional. Your staff are caring, patient and professional. I felt most of your staff went above and beyond. There was a day shift nurse Kaetlyn that was especially helpful and calming at a moment I needed it most. I'm sure it put her behind but she stayed with me until I felt better then checked on me frequently. Again thank you all nursing, respiratory and even housekeeping. Thanks
