Ann R. Ross Bookstore is a good college bookstore with a beautiful mural outside. It offers a nice, clean, and well-organized environment. The store has a large selection of merchandise and APSU gear, which comprises about half of the space. It is the only place to get some digital books. There is also a coffee shop inside, making it a place to meet with friends. The selection includes college texts for sale and a smaller than hoped section of miscellaneous books. The customer service is described as hit and miss. Sometimes it is ALWAYS excellent, while other times staff ability to help varies. Procedures can be confusing, such as where to pick up books or check out. There have been issues with refunds, especially for financial aid charges on books that never arrive, and with vague return policies for downloadable content, which can be disappointing and frustrating. Prices for books, particularly digital ones, can be very high. Overall, it remains a primary source for college texts and spirit gear despite some inconsistencies in service and policy clarity.
One of the customer service workers was really nice. The rest just thumb their noses. Shame. Will not return. And I love Barnes and Noble.

The atmosphere here has always been inviting and relaxing. There are tables and other seating areas to get comfortable. They offer concessions for purchase. Overall, I compare the bookstore to a small Barns & Noble.

Helpful staff and most books are in stock. A pleasant experience across the board.
